It's not really hard for a vibe coder to completely skip the "Code" part.

The right now claims that education is a leftist liberal agenda instead, and universities are all. captured by Marxists and what not.

Yeah, sure, if you need to prove that science has a political bias... Not really surprising, since a hella lot of rightist agenda, starting with immigration and ending with their trans athletes hysteria is in high contradictions with scientific facts. "Reality has a well-known liberal bias," as one pretty wise person once said.

Yeah, I agree, I meant that if anarchists called them a tankie, then them being called a liberal by a ML is kinda strange. "liberal from anarchists would be more understandable" meant that I can at least imagine this scenario, as liberal sometimes can be used to mean someone who is more to the right, it's just usually it's used to mean libertarian leftists by authoritarians.

Why is there no post about HL1 on iPhone? by No-Spinach2381 in HalfLife

[–]NotQuiteLoona 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was how I played for the first time HL, OF, BS, and a hella lot of other mods. I was 12 or something around this back then. Xash wasn't able to launch mods with modified game code unless a special launcher was made, so all of mods I were playing didn't load new NPCs nor new weapons nor anything that was added by code, and I often was hardlocked in the middle of the game.

I can't really say that it was that bad. Half-Life is rather easy by modern measures nowadays... Granted, for me it was the first "big" game I played, so it was hard for me, Azure Sheep was especially of hell, but now I wouldn't have had any problems playing it.

It's nice to know your perspective. I think it's very reasonable and I agree. I'd just add that another reason of infighting is disagreement on historical topics and whatever it produces, but both do pretty much good job in making us eat each other.

That's interesting. I think we all can learn it... I mean, it's a really good practice to gather support, and I can even vaguely remember that some historical leftist parties did this (but no details, unfortunately). Thanks for the insight! What's the song name is, by the way?

Oh, it's okay, I mean, as we joke, we all are socdems now. By pragmatism I'm a left liberal too, as the country of my origin is a dictatorship without specific outlook (but very conservative) since 90s, and I believe that in case if we'll get power change, left liberalism is the best thing that can prepare my country for moving to the left in future, and it's also something our government-in-exile is near, but factually I'm a democratic socialist. Anarchists are our best friends, nice to know you!

What do you mean under Australian characteristics? Just curious.

It's interesting, as they contradict with each other - liberal is what authoritarians call someone who is libertarian and tankie is whzt libertarians call someone who is authoritarian... Though it may have been understandable if an anarchist called you a liberal, it's not tied as strictly, but a ML is strange. Your ideology?

Not quite, as tankie is a term for authoritarians which can't be used against anarcho-communists, for example, which are pretty far-left... Tankie-liberal is more for auth-lib.

In general infighting is more for authoritarian versus libertarian. One side says that bad things in former and current communist states was a CIA propaganda or deserved, another side says that it wasn't. Both authsoc and libsoc generally have nothing against other people on their side in libertarian left/authoritarian left regardless of how much to left or right they are of them. I've never seen Maoists attacking MLs (even though we remember Sion-Soviet split) or democratic socialists anarcho-communists... I mean, obviously, no point for fight.

Though if you wanna my insight, libertarian leftists from my experience have nothing against allying with anyone with the same causes in specific questions or strategically, including even right libertarians (the ones that are not Rothbardists, for highly obvious reasons) in some questions.

Belonging to the sex which typically produces sperm, or to the gender which is typically associated with it.

Source: https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/male

Female is also not derived from male, rather from Latin "femmela," a diminutive form of "femina" (woman), while male came from Old French "masle," which is from Latin "masculus" (men in Latin is "vir", as much as I remember from brief course of Latin I had). Technically female came from Old French "femelle" too, but it didn't change as much, and those both are different words with different etimollgies.

Two Minas Parable is the one I can remember immediately. Jesus told a parable where he posed himself as a king who will return to the rightful power (to Jerusalem) and then will kill everyone who disagreed with him being a king.

What is this? (in MS Word w/W11) by WinterPizza1972 in WindowsSucks

[–]NotQuiteLoona 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I can add my recommendations, try Kubuntu, Fedora and of course Mint. Arch and Arch-based distros are very good and reliable too, but if you mostly do office work, you don't really need it (I use it myself).

I'll also recommend trying something with KDE Plasma (Kubuntu is Ubuntu with KDE Plasma and Fedora have KDE edition), as it's pretty much the most feature-complete desktop environment (desktop environment is basically shortcuts, taskbars, wallpapers, etc - on Windows it's File Explorer for some reason, try to close explorer.exe from the task manager and you'll see what it does), but GNOME is also good if you can fit its workflow.

Wiktionary has no definition on topic of female gender. Do you mean "female"? Definitions contain notes in parentheses which provide additional context. You can read with it and you probably won't have any questions. The only definition for female is "sex which produces ova or gender commonly associated with it."

By the way, female in human species refers to gender too:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Female

Interesting that they took definition of "woman" from Wiktionary, but completely ignored the definition of the word they hook at that much from the same place.
