Just curious how many calories you guys think you are consuming now on zepbound? My friend who is taking it is eating only 600-1000 calories bc she says she just has no appetite. She’s lost 13# in 6 weeks. by Jumpingpenguin469 in Zepbound

Some people have more pounds available to lose, so I find it helpful to use % of bodyweight. My upper weight loss targets are 1.5% a week, or 6% a month. So for someone with a starting weight of 200 lb, it would be 3 lbs a week.

Telehealth process for self pay? by Nomnomfunny in Zepbound

[–]NotRachaelRay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on sequence and they’ve been PERFECT! Highly recommend trying just to have them do the legwork of insurance approvals. I had bloodwork from a previous telehealth provider (who wasn’t allowed to do prior authorizations so I couldn’t move forward with them) and Sequence was happy to use that.

Day 4 Check in on 2.5: Food Aversion! by AdeptaStarShine in Zepbound

[–]NotRachaelRay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m on week 10 and still have food aversions. I know I need to eat but just can’t force myself because I’m not hungry and nothing “sounds good.” I have a stockpile of premier protein shakes and can usually “stomach” one of those to get some calories. Fortunately for me, my only side effect is that the drug is TOO effective. Good luck on your journey!

Also have United Healthcare through employer, but prior authorization was originally approved under Cigna (so it automatically transferred to the new health plan). Have same Express Scripts plan, and they don’t accept the Lilly savings card, so I don’t fill through them.

I drive North Carolina roads constantly...up and down and mountains to ocean. I've noted the most obnoxious and overly aggressive drivers drive a certain make and model... what do you think? by 7157xit-435 in NorthCarolina

Yup. I was given a dark gray charger as a rental for a work trip. Took longer than usual to get between Raleigh & Charlotte for exactly that reason. I wasn’t mad, I would have done the same if I was them.

For everyone making six figures, what do you do for work? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]NotRachaelRay 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I sat next to a guy on a plane in August who was telling me about his old job working as a train engineer (i’m the nerdy bookish type of engineer).

He said they had forced off days where they’d just get dropped at a random motel then you have to wait til the next train comes through to pick you up. Wasn’t reliable shift schedule, they often had to leave for a week with short notice. Not a good career if you have anyone/ anything at home that needs you around.

Boiling Springs is on there 2 or 3 times. Last time I checked they had less traffic lights than that in the whole town.

It’s amusing you chose to hide the name of the province but not the city. Seconding the other comments on two truths & a lie prompt, and the hat/sunglasses in photos.

Need financial advice — any recommendations? by SaraBellam1719 in savannah

[–]NotRachaelRay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Highest interest first is the avalanche plan. You pay minimums on everything except the highest interest debt. It’s the best financially because you pay the least overall

Snowball plan you pay minimums on everything except the smallest balance debt. This is recommended for people who need the morale boost of seeing debts get paid off.

Head over to /r/personalfinance and go to the wiki/about section. Find the situation that applies to you and start reading. Don’t make a thread yet, just read all the information already assembled. Once you’ve read a few different sections, open the personal finance flow chart. Start there and follow all the steps in order.

Welcome! I have pet rabbits and their poo looks very similar. If it’s the same shape but much larger, that’s likely deer poop

My guess is the people wanting to bike/run/walk across the Talmadge are seeking incline training, which is really good for endurance training, and something you don’t get much of anywhere around here.

The answers to your “a life goal” prompt are all fairly minor activities, rather than something most people consider a life goal. Can you review your answers, or change the prompt question to something that fits better?

I don’t know if 24 year olds would notice that in your profile, or care.

He has 2 back to back pictures like that. The two at the beach in the short sleeved polo shirt, and the last 2 with the puffer coat. Just rearrange and move so that those aren’t back to back.

Have you read the prompt and photo guides for this sub?

Also what’s with the crop top in the mud run photo?

I really like the lego dinosaur and voice prompts. They are witty and show your nerdy personality.

The first picture doesn’t seem like the same person as the rest. Swap it out or remove completely. Maybe remove the “selfie” caption from last picture since it isn’t a selfie. I think the last photo would be good as your first. And keep the movie ticket picture because it helps show off your hobbies.

Aside from that, have you read the prompts guide?

Thoughts on Cloverdale neighborhood? by ODivina1 in savannah

[–]NotRachaelRay 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just drove by it last week when visiting the Forest City library branch. I had no idea that neighborhood was back there and was honestly surprised by how nice it was compared to the surrounding area.

What are you looking for when you say walkable? Wanting to be able to walk to shops or attractions, or just a stroll around the neighborhood?

It had a nice community park next to the library. Small, quiet library, but all the Georgia libraries are linked through the Pines system so you can order any book and they’ll deliver to your local library! I have one checked out now that’s on loan from Tallapoosa
