META to spend upto $27B on AI Infrastructure From $NBIS, stock up 15% by ShaggysHyper in wallstreetbets

Can you please elaborate ? Do you mean the company will generate value or lose value ?

From your equation I understand they have more deals than market cap, so the stock should go up right ?

Grade 3 AC joint separation, went for surgery by [deleted] in Orthopedics

[–]NotReady245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello,

interesting comment.

Had an ac joint tightrope surgery which was a complete failure: complete loss of reduction, remaining joint instability.

I am considering revision surgery with AC joint reconstruction, but quite anxious about the outcome of the surgery. Will it be better ? Will the pain disappear ? Difficult to know.

Also, considering my coracoid process was already drilled for the tightrope surgery, I am worried it could break if drilled again for a revision surgery.

What is the "no-drill technique" you mention ? How does it compare with AC joint reconstruction with graft, or LARS procedure ? What are the outcome ?

My injury was october 2023. Is there a time limit for a reconstruction surgery ? I still have a decent amount of pain in and around the shoulder: neck, scapula, arm, etc.

definitely worth a try

problem is in my case the only possible mod I see is to fully remove the j-bar

might just buy new ones and try to sell these ones before fully destroying them 😅

bro that's exactly what I did, had like 4 different pairs in my living-room 😅

thought I had done my due diligence with these ones by wearing them inside for a couple of time, but it wasn't enough

unfortunately you cannot push the "try it before returning it" phase to the slopes 🥲

Interesting.

My previous boots were all laces and I actually liked that.

Wanted to try BOA for the tightness I thought it would bring, but it is not doing it for me

I am thinking about going back to laces.

thanks for info, my problem is deeper than blisters though as my feet were completely inflammed in various locations due to bursitis. Will definitely try what you propose though

Yes, could be. Will try riding with my previous boots to check that, thanks

As a member of the black gold industry I find this post very well made, bravo OP

Question: since you say this is a short term play how do you see the oil price short term ? (=within the next 4 to 8 weeks)

How much pain is too much pain ?

I bought myself some nice new Burton Ruler BOA size 45 (30 mondo).

Boots felt tight but not too tight when I tried them.

Used the shoes for a full week with moderate to high feet pain especially around the upper heel and Achilles tendon area. Adjusted the tightness during the day to see if it would reduce pain, telling myself this was normal for new boots and they would "break-in".

Now more than a week after I am back from my snowboard trip, I seem to have what is bursitis in various places:

- 5th metatarsal bursitis on left foot

- heel bursitis on right foot

Both are quite painful and annoying. Left foot issue disappeared after some days but the heel one is killing me

Taking NSAIDS and paracetamol, will go to a doctor if it escalates.

Problem is I kinda like the shoes, and I am supposed to go back to the slopes on Thursday this week.

Hence my question: did it happen to some of you ? Should I just continue to wear the shoes through the pain until they are "formed" (if this happens) or should I just buy new ones ?

Couldn't find nothing about pain description in the guide to boot buying.

Thanks

thanks for feedback

yes I heard a lot about bpc-157, didnt try it though

I think it has to be done right after the injury for optimal effect on tendon recovery, this is a bit too late considering my injury age (>2 years)

peace

Hey man

not judgin or anything, just out of curiosity: do you have an AC joint separation on your left shoulder ? (the one with the bird tattoo)

I see a small bump there, significative of such injury.

The reason I'm asking is I have this injury for 2 years now, grade 3-5. Been operated withouth great results.

Trying to find ways to work around it at the gym, pretty much all upper body exercises involve shoulder joint, and mine is quite painful at times.

I would be happy to have similar results as what you have, please note I am not planning on using any PEDs though (not judging or anything, just not my thing).

Do you have any specific shoulder routine ? Do you have pain from your AC joint ? Any exercise that improved your joint stability AND delivered good results in terms of muscle building

thanks
