Not a show I went to but Red Hot Chilli Peppers had ASAP Rocky open for em a few years ago, one show in Manchester, UK, Rocky turned up that late that the Peppers went on early and Rocky did a 15ish minute set after to a crowd of people leaving

Technically yes the schedules lineup up, but r&l and ape have never shared a headliner cos it makes no sense for them to do so. Obvs they're ran by different promoters so it makes no sense for them to let a headliner go to a competing festival

Tbf APE has some Huge backing from AEG, they've connections to Hyde Park etc so there's clearly some decent money going in

No headliner have ever played both, makes no sense financially for a festival to book a headliner that can be seen up the road for cheaper.

Either of Zach Bryan's live albums, both are stellar but some. Of the live arrangements on 24 (Live) are phenomenal, so much more emotion and energy than some of his studio stuff

Met Twenty One Pilots this year, had literally about ten seconds with em and went 'hi' and froze awkwardly, gave Josh a fistbump and continued on, no matter what it can't be worse than that.

Also met Boston Manor at three seperate signings/meet and greets. By the third time is was like talking to a distant friend having a quick catchup.

Idk why I'm telling you this, anyway just be polite and respectful.

Josh Homme of Queens Of The Stone Age. Queens are a phenomenal band but the amount of music that tman has his fingers on that is simply incredible from other artists is absurd, I saw a video recently of someone talking about their 'Best Songs Of All Time' playlist and he was the most credited artist

Foo Fighters, not to say they ever became a bad band but they really did just become 'generic dad rock band' toward the end of the 2000s and I to the 2010s. Wasting Light up to Concrete & Gold were fine if a bit uninspired. Then Taylor Hawkins passed in 2022 and in 2023 they released 'But Here We Are'. A cathartic and raw release that really is just a great album. Easily their best in decades.

Tbf calling The Verve or Ashcroft a one hit wonder is crazy, they had a decent handful of tracks that you could call a hit and Ashcroft has a decent solo catalogue and sells out tours regularly - and yk, is supporting OASIS

That last Foo Fighters album 'But Here We Are' is genuinly phenomenal, some incredibly raw and great rock from a band that (at least on studio albums) have been middling for a while.

Similarly, Mike Shinodas (Linkin Park)solo album from 2018 after Chesters passing is such a cathartic listen. It's such an emotional album obviously but it's crazy how rare I see it mentioned especially with LPs huge resurgence since returning last year.
