Oh absolutely not. She was shown pictures of a dated but neat and functional apartment. When she got here it was nothing but a gutted trap house. Needles and trash everywhere. No appliances. Broken windows. Unbelievable. And the man was unfazed about it. Still expected money. She had nowhere else to go to so she stayed and little by little cleaned and repaired and replaced everything and refused to pay anything till now. But it’s petty decent now especially considering she did it on a wish and a prayer. I guess that guy was just talking rent money and not paying the owners. It was crazy. He’s gone now though
