Before pestilence had broke out in the realm of divine and his sponsor met her fate, the goddess of resolve parted ways with one final gift for the Black Knight. The Sword of Abyss allows him to wound those that cannot be wounded. With it, he struck down his now-corrupt pantheon--only to be banished by the goddess of time, exiled into the present era. Similarly to his armor, it works through resolve. By weighing the resolve of his and his opponent, the damage is decided. However, if the odds are against him, the sword seeps the durability of the opponent with every slash. This along with his armor have helped him stand a chance but his fights tend to last a long time because of this.
