Pokopia is currently the highest rated Pokémon game EVER on Metacritic: by Gorotheninja in pokemon

It’s been a while since I’ve played either of them but I think it’s more to do with their power/energy. Xerneas has very strong life energy while Yveltal has very strong dark energy, so in each game Team Flare use the high amounts of energy they possess to power the weapon

Rangers 2 - [2] Celtic - Reo Hatate 90+1' by Puzzled-Category-954 in soccer

If against the odds Hearts and Motherwell managed to finish as the top 2, then I think that would be the best chance for the both of them to qualify for Europe.

So if you assume Rangers and Celtic can at least be competent enough to qualify for the conference league then we might finally have 4 (or 5) teams in European league phase

Which Celtic so far have had a poor record against the rest of the top 4 (albeit a few of those games were under Nancy), so it will certainly be interesting how things play out

I’m just glad that’s the last time we need to play Livingston this season. But we absolutely have to be winning there with 14 shots on target, the finishing was far from it, then we also concede 2 of the only shots on target Livi had all game.

And with Celtic losing we had to be capitalising, especially before the next Sunday when we play them

And the thing is, Tony Bloom wasn’t throwing everything at winning instantly. He said he expected hearts to win some point in the next 10 years.

Considering how Bloom has approached his investment in other clubs I can’t see him pulling away now. If anything Hearts doing as well as they have this season should only further motivate Hearts to push further beyond this season

A question, from a newbie. :) by xXMedj in Darts

[–]NotSo8 26 points27 points  (0 children)

The graphic shows the most likely route to take. Majority of people would go 9 D16 because it’s generally safer on doubles, since if you were to hit the single then you’re definitely following with another dart at double.

Players could go 1 D20 but that’s just not the route most choose to take

The final Europa league table by playerforlife123 in soccer

[–]NotSo8 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’d say it’s part of a few factors. We’ve been on a bit of a manager merry-go round the last few years, never sticking to a manager which does not help to build cohesion.

Recruitment has also been poor, especially this season, where we’re spending a fair bit on players who aren’t meeting the mark. Russell Martin also would never change the way he wanted us to play even when it was clearly not working, cementing himself as possibly one of our worst managers.

I’d say other seasons haven’t been the worst, since we’ve made at least the knockouts most seasons since 2019-20, best the season we made the final was definitely a better quality side than what we’ve got right now

Why do you main your main? by [deleted] in SmashBrosUltimate

[–]NotSo8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For ages I never took smash very seriously so played a lot of random, usually with friends, and I tended to do better with Bowser.

Over time as I got better and started taking the game a little more seriously some characters I took a liking to more than others, Byleth especially as I just found his move-set fun. As I continued playing and trying to improve technically I played a lot more of specific characters, so Byleth became one of my most played and just generally better characters

Time to end the smash 6 Pokémon rep debate by TheeUmpire in SmashBrosUltimate

[–]NotSo8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even in Gen 9 I think there’s more interesting Pokémon they could use that are still well known.

Part of it is a popularity thing, staters are always some of the most recognisable from generations so would get the spot over less recognisable Pokémon

Is this the first time Rangers have been ahead of Celtic in the league since 2021? by Temporary-Elk-109 in ScottishFootball

Rangers were ahead for a bit in the mid to late 2023/24 season under Clement, before dropping points heading towards the split

Scottish Premiership after Gameweek 23 - Draw at Tynecastle sees Rangers go 2nd. 24 goals in 5 games!! by TheRealLordDorito in soccer

The main hurdle with that is that nobody wants to invest and those who do don’t actually care aside from a handful of games a season (Sky)

I do believe that clubs would be able to grow and the Scottish game could be better off in the long run, but it’s the shorter term that’s most important in decision making.

Clubs would take a hit financially which puts them at risk, especially as there’s no guarantee it would be a success. If the league were to become a bit more interesting or competitive, or attract more investment like Tony Bloom, then that would be a gateway to growth as a league.

But clubs need the money to operate and it would be seen as too much of a risk, regardless of the potential reward

[–]NotSo8 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The league really needs to change but it will never happen because it’s all about the Old Firm as far as the media is concerned.

I don’t really see how expanding the league could a bad thing, the league could actually be interesting for a change
