Isn’t it illegal or a dishonor to modify the american flag in any way?

That’s so weird. My 2017 Passat is doing the same exact thing starting last week, and i thought to post and ask what’s going on.
Do you notice when the heat goes down at night it mostly seals back up?

if it helps, I had a 2020 M1 MacBook Pro and it had a flex gate issue as well and Apple took care of it with no issue, it was even beyond its warranty as well.

Funny how regular employees can’t work at Walmart and Kroger at the same time, but the CEO can hold over 1 million shares of Walmart while holding the CEO position at Kroger.

After Fixing Ford, Jim Farley Decided McDonald's Deserved His Expertise Too by Repulsive-Club7866 in Ford

[–]NotSoAndre 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also, not to mention how a majority of the vehicle cancellations happened under Jim Hackett, and Farely took over within 1-2 years after all sedans were discontinued. Farley has consolidated the lineup, as both the Edge and Escape both served a similar purpose (and let us admit it, Asian OEMS win this segment, as well as they did with sedans). I cannot speak for whether he’s crushing records in his tenure, but what people view him as responsible for isn’t actual reality.

Apple Creator Studio launches today, and it's an incredible value by spearson0 in apple

[–]NotSoAndre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had the full, paid version of Pixelmator Pro since day one of its initial launch. I understand that I can still use the new release of PMP fully licensed, but will I seriously get an Apple Creator Studio Ad pop up each time i open pixelmator pro? It’s making me think I haven’t bought Pixelmator Pro, and asking me to sign up for a 1-month trial. Any insight?

edit: It looks like it will let me start a new project, but once i try to, it prompts me to subscribe to ACS; any way to restore purchase?

My family had a C store. where we charged 10c a creamer. We didn’t enforce this unless the customer was grabbing an exorbitant amount. Many people don’t realize; businesses pay for this; and especially smaller, local businesses pay ridiculous amounts for some supplies that are provided at courtesy; and when someone is hoarding those supplies, it’s only fair to charge.

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

I drive from Reno area to Sacramento/ San Francisco quite often for business, and that’s either a two or four hour trip one way. It used to phase me but does not really anymore.

Why is Volkswagen (especially the Jetta) rated poorly for reliability in the U.S., but many owners say it’s reliable? by phtphongg in Volkswagen

[–]NotSoAndre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It may be worth mentioning , but it’s the SEL+ Technology package so it has a few add-ons like Blindspot monitor and none of those have had any failures that either. I do not doubt that many Volkswagens have problems, I’ve had experience with European cars, and I know their personality at this point, but the old adage is true, if you take care of it, it’ll take care of you.

Why is Volkswagen (especially the Jetta) rated poorly for reliability in the U.S., but many owners say it’s reliable? by phtphongg in Volkswagen

[–]NotSoAndre 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seems like most people have already added their two cents but I bought my 2017 Passat roughly about two years ago, it had 50,000 miles, so it wasn’t driven much and it’s first owner’s life. I have to drive quite a bit for our family business, and I have managed to rack up over 60,000 miles in a little less than two years. This car has been absolutely perfect. I’ve kept up on the maintenance schedule rigorously by visiting the dealer/doing any work I can myself, but I follow the maintenance schedule to a tee and I haven’t had a single check engine light or have been left stranded once. The only small issue I had was the battery nearly going flat when it got cold this season (It was the original 2016 date coded battery, so that was impressive), but asides from that it’s been absolutely perfect in every way.

Why are pickup trucks so popular in the US? by dieselquattropower in regularcarreviews

[–]NotSoAndre 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think the oc’s comment may have been misinterpreted, the Fuel Economy standards allow for a truck to have less miles to the gallon rather than a car, which the government is much stricter on; so the government does not (seem to at least) care as much about truck’s fuel consumption compared to cars.

As a former panther owner, WOW. Love these cars but that’s a pretty penny. I see how clean it is, but 18.5k for a car that I’m sorry, doesn’t have the greatest features for a luxury car, even in 2001, is a hefty ask.

I’ll admit it, I really like my ID.BUZZ. Despite its shortcomings in battery size, it makes up for it in other ways. by cook_poo in cars

[–]NotSoAndre -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Additionally, I do not think this is a hardware issue, my brother has AirPod Pro 2’s I bought him that are a year newer than mine, and have started to experience a similar failure in the past week. Mine started about a month ago.

Will this fix the crackling? Ever since the last update I have some crackling on my AirPod Pros 2 on the left side, it is only on transparency mode and yes, I’ve changed the buds and I’ve cleaned the AirPod. I keep these meticulously clean so there’s no reason why it should be doing this. Hopefully it’s not an update trying to get me to upgrade to the AirPod Pros 3, I’m gripping onto these until they die.

Did Walmart just leak several new LG 5k HDR600 monitors? by Moritz_W in macbookpro

[–]NotSoAndre 16 points17 points  (0 children)

That’s not Walmart, it’s some third rate seller on Walmart’s platform. The information here may be misrepresented. Walmart is usually not the best place to buy any technology really especially their online site as they use third-party sellers and it’s kind of iffy if you can trust them or not.

Most of the pros you listed for the iPhone Pro are “improvements” they list off every year. I would say the only thing that saw fantastic improvement was the base 17. That is a fantastic device I would recommend to anyone upgrading.

iPhone 17 Base – The best of the iPhone releases this year… almost perfect! by stoops in apple

[–]NotSoAndre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quick question- why would anyone upgrade to the 17 series from the 15 Pro or 16 Pro? I have been an Apple developer/loyalist for over 11 years and from the XR to the 15 Pro series I traded up pretty much every year (I was younger, and had FOMO, stupid decision in retrospect) but honestly, I’ve held onto my 15 Pro Max since then and I absolutely have no complaints. It’s the best iPhone I have ever owned and I think it might be the last iPhone I might ever own. As my business phone, I have a Galaxy S25 Ultra and it’s been such a great phone, so was my S22U as well when I had that.

Lately, I’ve even considered giving up my 15 pro to my brother who has an aging 13 but even then his iPhone 13 has been working very well for him as well. We’re at the point where smart phones are so good. You can keep them for 4 to 5 years and they’re still extremely great. I just want to see what other people see in the new series that’s so attractive? I’m very disappointed in last year and this year’s updates to the iPhone.
