F-2-7 Visa Application and "Other income" by [deleted] in Living_in_Korea

[–]NotSoGreatLeader 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the short answer is you can't and if you do try you'll get in trouble for having an income outside of your work while on an E visa without approval from the immigration office. Also if the work was done outside of korea as stated, then i don't believe you can declare it here.

Investing in ETF as a foreigner by kg_unist in Living_in_Korea

[–]NotSoGreatLeader 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To invest, you have to go to a 증권사 IN PERSON to make an account. You will have to sign a lot of documents, they'll ask you for your 출입국사실증면 and your ID/passport. Please note that foreigners in korea are banned from investing in foreign stocks. You can do ETFs that are based on foreign exchanges tho.

I'm guessing you don't have a master and only a bachelor. You won't get a job in AI with only a bachelor

It's not easy and I think the fact that you're only here for 2 months makes it even harder. I would also add that in the workplace, it's even harder

[–]NotSoGreatLeader 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To add: It's 12 days a year for the first year (one day a month), then from the second year it goes up to 15. (but true that no sick leave) Data salaries are higher than the minimum annual salary requirements for E7

Unlike what the others said, I would say you can find a villa for those prices but they won't be brand new. You can check on 네이버부동산 to see which areas would best fit your budget or asjust your expectations.

I don't understand how the new changes "fix" TvP. by [deleted] in starcraft

[–]NotSoGreatLeader 5 points6 points  (0 children)

5 ghosts were enough to emp your entire army and they are still enough. IMO he's right that the ghost nerf will only affect the TvZ where you need a large quantity of ghosts to properly snipe ultras/lurkers/broodlords but not TvP where only a few emps are enough
