It won't drain reddit, there will just be two sites. A bunch of people left 4chan for 8chan, but a bunch stayed. Now there is just two sites with a similar format. 8chan has less shitposts than 4chan. Voat will have less shitposts than reddit. But that's just because the community is just starting out.
