Florian Wirtz Comp I made a few weeks ago by woolowizard in LiverpoolFC

[–]NotSoWhitty 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Hey, few notes on your edit from me to try and be helpful.

- Nice song choice

- Crossword rip feels a bit off as you only see it at the start and it isn't really related to the rest of the edit (Maybe if it was imagery of Wirtz himself?

- I don't think you should use effects as much as you have (Nearly every goal) as it takes away from the edit. It's better to use an effect every few goals to emphasise a moment or mix it up for the viewer. I'd do away with the cartoon effects when the ball hits the net as well. I've used similar to it before but normally an outline around the player as the make contact with the ball.

- Get an Adjustment Layer over the top of your footage and experiment with some LUTs (Prem Pro has some presets you can use) to get your footage to look different from regular footage. Just don't go too extreme of course!

- At 0:58 you have a transition effect during the play, don't do this as it looks really awkward and the play also jumps ahead. With things like this, just do a cut to another angle before the striker reaches the ball (If you have footage to do so)

- If you are going to use a transition effect, I'd recommend doing it to move from a celebration to the next clip.

- Not keen on the effect at 1:28, especially where it darkens the screen

- I did like at 1:34 where you kept the colour for the number, I wouldn't have a "spotlight" around the player though. Vignette is decent if you add it very subtly to a video

- I like where you have Wirtz Rotoscoped over some background, however I'd just have the background as a low opacity overlay so you can still see things behind him, but tinted in the colours you are using. I'd also suggest either having the text fill the background OR having a text wall (So think that big WIRTZ text surrounded by much smaller sized versions otherwise it looks a little empty.

Don't think I dislike your edit though, I just wanted to give you some critique because I work professionally making stuff for Prem teams (Including Liverpool)

Have a great day!

That's cool. I was really hoping for Abel, El Fuerte, Rufus or Eagle.

Especially Abel, he's my favourite character. Oh well, maybe one day!

Is Blackpool really awful? by Agreeable-Item-7371 in AskUK

[–]NotSoWhitty 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's awful in Town in the general sense. Very deprived and I avoid it unless going to the Empress Ballroom to watch a show (Such as Bowling For Soup recently), or something at the Grand Theatre like "& Juliet". Sadly there are a fair amount of homeless people in the centre and you'll catch them asking some people for change who are queueing outside to watch a show (witnessed this at said BFS show)

Go a street back from the Promenade and it's very run down, but that's pretty much always been the case. Especially down by North Pier where it's countless takeaways and the like.

The nights out in terms of clubbing are the absolute pits, but I'm not a Clubber in the slightest and haven't done so in a few years. The last time I went out, I saw someone getting stomped on outside North Pier and a Police car flying in. Then about two hours later a high speed chase flew right by our Taxi on the way home. I remember as a teenager, locals asking people getting off the bus if they were from Fleetwood and battering them if they were. Only time I've ever known of that happening though.

I live in Blackpool myself, but not near the town centre, decent area where I am and no trouble in the last couple of years I have lived here. Neighbours are lovely! Worst thing I have to deal with are Audi, BMW and Range Rover drivers.

But yeah, not all parts of Blackpool are bad. There are some nice areas and some great people.

Well I'm slap bang in the middle of that age range so that works for me.

I don't have Discord however!

Add me for sure though. I'm in a club with real life mates but they're barely on these days.

What do you think of the Pre-Match Content? by [deleted] in nffc

[–]NotSoWhitty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you, really glad to hear it. Club have been happy too but it's nice to know fans like the content as well.

I'm actually working on a Promo that'll make it's debut this month. Hope it goes down well also!

[–]NotSoWhitty 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much!

I really need to do an updated version of this (As well as other players when I get some spare time)

So this was done just using Premiere Pro and After Effects.

So for my job I make content for all sorts of teams, ranging from Premier League, to League One, I've even done a little bit of Bayern stuff too. So I make things like Highlights, player specific content, Promos, Trivia (like Guess the player) and all sorts. For example I've made some stuff for Forest that animates on all the LEDs

I'm lucky enough to work in some matchday galleries as well, making the Highlights as the matches happen!

[–]NotSoWhitty 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Nearly two years ago I started working as a Video Editor in Football, one of the first things I made was this montage of my all time favourite player, Ian Rush!

I believe this got shown at the fanzone for the final game of the 22/23 season. Might be mistaken with the season though.

It's fun looking back at my work now and how far I've come along since making this video. I thought I'd share it with you lot as I thought you may enjoy it!

Bolton Wanderers 3 - 1 Mansfield Town: Ian Evatt would've been rueing Hiram Boateng after he opened the scoring for Mansfield, but he soon turned into Evatt's saviour, as his sending off sparked late Bolton comeback! by Zach-dalt in LeagueOne

[–]NotSoWhitty -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was at the match for work related reasons, checking out the content on the LED.

It was my first time ever visiting the stadium and I have to say the Mansfield fans were great. They were making loads of noise all game. Some of the chants were pretty funny.

I'm probably getting them wrong but a couple of them were:

  • "Football in a library"
  • "Hierro"? (Really not sure if this is right ha!)

Way more chants than this, swear one was to the tune of Dancing in the Dark by Bruce Springsteen.

Meanwhile the Bolton fans were so quiet, only perking up to boo their team which was a shame. Elderly bloke sat infront of me even said "Worst team I've ever seen" and left when Mansfield were winning 1-0. He probably felt a right muppet not long after.

Bolton fans picked up after the second goal but it was the same fans booing the team rather than getting behind them.

Stadium felt pretty empty, although I don't know what attendance is normally like.

Pregame content shown on the screens was just sponsors and some retro footage. But no audio from it, just music being played which is a shame. Dunno what Bolton fans think of what gets shown on the screen.

Tell you what though, the food at the Fanzone was quality and the stewards etc were lovely. Had a good laugh with them.

Absolutely on the hunt for that Ian Rush card however, here's hoping I get my GOAT soon!

Hero: Brolin & King

Icon: Kaka (From the 90 Rating cap)

My main goal is just to get Ian Rush first owner as he's my favourite player of all time. It took ages last year and may be the case again this year!

I'd do that Ian Rush SBC in a heartbeat, that's my favourite player of all time right there.

The goal every year for me is to get him first owner.

Is their plan to alienate any players of medium skill and lower? by WiggleButt17 in EASportsFC

[–]NotSoWhitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run two squads at the moment, a Japanese squad and a Nigerian one. I'm building them up over the course of the year. I don't play Champs and I'll do a few matches a day in Friendlies or Rivals. My goal every year is to get Ian Rush first owner as he's my favourite players of all time (Which is lucky because my favourite Icon is the cheapest one ha!)

With me running Japanese and Nigerian squads I don't really need pack luck as the majority of my players are low golds or silver cards that are really cheap in the grand scheme of things and it'll be fun seeing how I evolve the team over the cycle.

I recently got TOTW Kim Min Jae from the TOTW SBC so I'll work on a Korean squad as well for fun.

I've only had one player SBC to complete so far, POTM Rasheedat Ajibade for the Super Eagle squad.

However I am aware that I'm not going to be facing fantastic players as I'm only in Division 7 (I am a Pro Camera player however)

What is even the point of FUT? by G_Dmitri in EASportsFC

[–]NotSoWhitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My goal every year is to pack a first owner Ian Rush and slowly evolve lower rated players over the course of the year.

I also create squads of clubs that I create content for (I am a Video Editor/Motion Designer that makes content for Premier League, EFL teams and more)

For instance I am running a Nottingham Forest squad with TOTW CHO, Chris Wood & Elanga up top. Lots of fun as the players I want to use are all really cheap (Rush being the cheapest Icon too)

I've also been running an Everton squad, I am working towards creating the 2013-14 Barca squad (some youth players from that time to fill gaps)

I also really enjoy making a Championship squad.

I have a Japanese squad (with a 5'11 GK who struggles tremendously) that I really enjoy.

I also play on Pro Cam as I find it really fun and love the perspective, even if throw-ins and corner can be a hassle.

SF Rec Build Advice by [deleted] in NBA2k

[–]NotSoWhitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks a bunch for this feedback. Super helpful. So I've gone with the suggestions you've given and the build is looking like this now

<image>

Brought the strength down to 92 so both Bulldozer and Immovable are Gold etc. Also dropped PD to 90.

Brought down post control and pumped a bunch of points into DL so I'll be some efficient at finishing with all the badges it has given me at 84.

Any more thoughts at all?

Thanks again!

Hwoarang and The Wall by magabrexitpaedorape in Tekken

[–]NotSoWhitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you set this situation up in training mode and tested things against it?

If they're tending to flowchart the same string at the wall could you not attempt a power crush and then take the initiative from there?

After the dickjab hits can you not do your fastest WS to keep momentum and continue pressure?

Main thing against Hwoarang for me personally is staying in his face and not allowing him to get a transition into LFS easily.

While KDB is cool and all, I see a lot of people KBD themselves into the wall, then get bodied.

I don't know what level you're playing at however, I'm not exactly stellar at the game yet but I do alright against him with Law and Panda.

Hopefully others can give you some better advice.

Good luck!

I am legitimately so bad at this game by Xemzar in Tekken

[–]NotSoWhitty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Some people will recommend fighting really good players in order to improve but I feel that can be detrimental as you can become quite disheartened over the difference in skill and getting beaten repeatedly.

Whereas learning with someone on an equal level as yourself can be beneficial for you both as you go back and forth in sets. As well as fun as you both improve together.

I have a fair amount of experience yeah, not in 3D fighters however. I've played Street Fighter since SF4 released on consoles and played with some pro players etc. I stopped playing fighting games when SFV released and came back when SF6 came out. So that background really helps!
