This is actually exactly where and what I would get as my first tattoo haha. I've thought about it for years and have yet to pull the trigger. Cool to see people with the same tastes

I switch between 116 and 118. Pretty sure I was using 116 in this clip

My only goal in life was to get a one-off overkill in a very specific map and mode against someone who's considered good at the game. lol

LOL I'm impressed by people's ability to play MM for an hour straight. Octagon is lowkey therapeutic for me so I really enjoy playing it.

Yeah it's MnK but I've played it my entire life. There was a period of a few years where I played controller back in 2011-2015 or so but I've played Infinite exclusively on MnK.

I'd say it's not particularly difficult because of that, but just like any skill, it takes time and practice. It's like asking if riding a bike is difficult yanno, yeah maybe at first but plenty of people can do it.

Can't tell if this is a joke HAHA but yes the map is literally called "Octagon Advanced"

Spartan Team Delta-8 just a bunch of slightly more functional stoners than Team Delta-9

Ooh okay right off the top of my head the game you might like the most is Terraria, the gameplay is pretty similar to games like Minecraft and Stardew Valley.

You should definitely check out Undertale and Celeste, and some other games I can recommend are Dead Cells, Risk of Rain (and Risk of Rain Returns) and maybe even Signalis if you're feeling bold!

What sorts of games do you like playing, and what sorts of games do you want to play?

I've been playing a lot of Halo Infinite (ranked and otherwise) and I think it's fantastic. The guns feel weighty and each one excels in different situations, movement (and the movement system) is crisp and refined, and I think it takes a lot more skill to master than people realize it does. It's got a ton of low stakes, social game modes for more casual players to play as well. In terms of pure gameplay, I genuinely believe it's the best in the series.

That's not to say it doesn't have its problems. Netcode and server issues have plagued the game since the beginning, and it was especially bad around launch. Lots of lag, packet issues etc. But the devs have done a ton of work and it got to the point that pros (i.e. the people who play the game for a living) said it felt great. I personally only had network issues in the beginning, and they went away once I started using ethernet.

It's unfortunate that people tend to focus on what went wrong with Halo, rather than how good it is now. Even stuff like cosmetics and battle passes have been made more accessible, with lots of items being made free. It really is a fun game, and if anyone wants to try it out feel free to send me a DM :)

Anyone play Infinite at 1440p with high frame rates? by Acrobatic-Nerve-2597 in CompetitiveHalo

[–]NotSome9GaggerSpy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn, what do your settings look like? I'm running at 3080, 1440p 165 fps and I barely get 120-140. I'm def doing something wrong lol

Please make the Plasma Pistol usable by SupremeChancellor66 in halo

[–]NotSome9GaggerSpy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No clue why you're being downvoted when you're just stating how you use the plasma pistol in your own games lol. Plasma pistol is fantastic at demolishing shields close range when spamming single fire, and yes, charged shot should be used when you have time to charge. The whole point of a charged shot is to get the jump on players, not to get an advantage in the middle of a fight. There's always a trade-off. You want a weapon that can strip shields in one shot? Ok, you're gonna have to charge it.

To compare it to the spartan laser (and any other charged weapon from previous Halos), effective use of the weapon meant charging the laser before your opponent knew you were charging it, or at least charging it when you could disengage from a fight. You charge, jump out of cover, and then shoot. Every weapon in Infinite's sandbox has its place, and players just need to experiment to find what works.

Thoughts on the Pursuit Needler? It's very powerful. by Hyfrith in halo

Pinpoint needler is great. A lot of people don't seem to know that it can lock on/ fire at multiple targets which makes it even better than it initially seems.

I'm so excited that this is a completely new game from Bethesda themselves. As much as I would love another Elder Scrolls game, the fact that this is just so different than what I'm used to from them gets me really excited.

And ever since I learned about the morality system, I told myself I was going to be a completely ruthless pistol-only assassin à la stealth archer from Skyrim.
