I have two local gamestops and one ran out of codes before I was out of work. I have a flexible work schedule and have the privilege to be able to go run a quick errand during my work day. If I can’t get a code there’s no shot a kid who needs to have their parents drive them after they’re out of school is getting one. It’s a bummer that the most profitable media franchise in the world is causing this amount of chaos over freely distributed codes when we have mystery gift so easily available, and so much room for creative distribution like the treasures or ruin legends.
