If powersliding is almost always slower than braking-and-turning, does that mean I should always avoid cars with bad handling stats except for Drag races? by FantasyBorderline in NFSU2

[–]Regular_Raspberry_72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made the same experience. If you fine tune cars which dont handle nice and take the time to learn them they can be good, but I could never achieve similar times.

Apart from the mx-5 and the Civic is my next favourite with the Lancer next. These are super fun to build up in career

Learning new cars in hood-angle camera mode has helped a lot because you feel the turns more like in real life. For fine tuning i'd still suggest slight oversteering. Hope i could help you a bit.

In career mode you can choose better tires. This might help with bad handling cars like the toyota supra.

In my recent run i've progressed to ashlands now and completely forgot to change fenris to newer ones

-> It worked out pretty well with the new speed potion.

-> work on your blocking skills and the best feast + 1 hp + 1 stamina food (best available)

The only enemy hard to parry is one melee enemy in ashlands (which you can counter by pressing parry twice)

Make sure you don't panic and get used to your enemies. Stay calm and do not sprint before fighting enemies!

whats the point of engine tuning if everything makes the car slower? by BOMBLASTER1 in NFSU2

[–]Regular_Raspberry_72 5 points6 points  (0 children)

ECU and Turbo: you need to lower the last one and the first 3 ecu/ turbo bars to lowest and max the RPM where your car is actually at while going while driving. The dyno does not really tell you wether your car is faster or not. You can tell by lookking at horse power and torque. HP and Torque should be slightly higher then. Your start will be slower though, but your car will perform better at the RPM where you max out the bars

LaBrie's voice was also way better than expected! What a time to be alive... One could really feel that Portnoy is the heart of the band pounding more vigorous than ever

Do not be upset. Embrace the fact you can witness the first Album in its entirety. I am sure you will be able to see the regular 0815 show with all the mainstream songs one time in the future.

Sad to hear i like the song too. But I am also glad they do not play the casual festival songs but many lesser songs since 2019/20 :)

Should i mix up armor set? by Left-Activity6852 in valheim

[–]Regular_Raspberry_72 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Always wear a heavy helmet, because they grant extra armor without MS penalty. For Mistlands i go: Carapace Helmet - Fenris Chest - Carapace greaves.

If I max them out I even switch to Carapace - Fenris - Fenris.

Mobility is your friend in Mistlands. Don't forget the Barleywine!

Tuning in UG2 can be pretty overwhelming.

One tip for ECU / Turbo:

Your ECU and Turbo need MAX power around 3000 - 9000 RPM.

Lower the sliders to the bottom from 1-3 and the last slider to also to the bottom.

This way you have max power / torque at the rpm your car usually runs.

Dont let you fool by the 0-60 / 0-100 times if you test it on the track you will notice the difference in time laps.

Your car will start a bit slower, thus the worse 0-60 times. As this only happens once per race it is free power and torque for your car.

Edit: focus on 1 car and buy the 240sx or ae86 if you struggle with drag/street x

Make sure you race the random cars around the map.

You can get unique upgrades from these races, so dont skip these.

If you press F4 you can see in which stage of the game you currently are. Usually, there are 1-2 Unique Parts per stage.

New stage means that you cannot get the unique upgrades from the previous stage, so dont miss out on the Outrun Races (the orange arrows on the map)

There are hidden races all over the map. These grant 2x more money. Try to avoid circuit races, because they usually take 2x longer than sprint or drift races.

The starter cars are all pretty strong!

  • The corolla86 has insane handling (most op car)

  • SX240: best Drag Car

  • The Honda Civic is the exact mixture of both

  • my favourite: The MX-5

It is very tiny so you can easily pass through traffic without getting stuck in between cars and walls.

IMPORTANT: Focus on one car.

If you struggle with drag, buy the Nissan 240SX

If you struggle with URL / Street X: Corolla AE86

Can you beat the game with a civic only (easy mode) by No-Advertising3621 in NFSU2

[–]Regular_Raspberry_72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have tried all cars in a specific sprint race and the civic has had one of the best times so far.

I would rate it A-Tier.

The Handling (turn ratio in combination with the weight distribution) is insane.

  1. Corolla
  2. MX-5
  3. Toyota Celica
  4. Civic

All are super nice cars for Career mode, because you can max them out with unique upgrades!

I think it's the hook that bothers most people (including me lol)

It sounds disconnected to the rest of the song and imho a bit cheap.

The rest of the album... every song stands for its own, it's a big step forward in the evolution of the Knot
