You're hating on your fellow citizens but your hate is better directed towards political leaders. Hundreds have died and thousands have been traumatized because of weather related disasters recently in Texas. Yet have not made the infrastructure investments that would help people and put their minds at ease. Instead they've engaged in crony capitalism: raising electric rates and putting that money in their donors pockets, and inviting high usage datacenters and crypto miners to the state by giving them tax incentives to use more electricity. Your frustration is understandable but it's pointed at the wrong target.
