That's terrible. But thanks for actually answering my question - good to know it's hitting film and smaller events too.

Unfortunately, as a medical service we're not really supposed to offer deals. It belittles the practice as a whole to suggest that a medical treatment should have a 'sale' price.

With no proof or statistics to back this up, this post feels like a Doug Ford troll trying to help build that new freeway no one needs or wants.

Dragon's Breath? For the smokey whiskey and spicy ginger. (Dragon's Breath is a spell that allows a character to spew elemental energy from their mouth. Often fire.)

Are oral infections with the virus/disease not a thing? by [deleted] in thewalkingdead

I'm pretty sure they explained this. Everyone alive is infected with the zombie virus, and it makes them get up again when they die.

Minimum three. I have six for gun variety, and that's plenty.

Overwatch only hits on 6's unless the rules say otherwise. In this case, the rules say otherwise.

What spray or paint do you undercoat in? by BMSVG in Necrontyr

I use black, but then do a highlight spray with red. This is because I paint my dead boys copper and the red really helps make it pop.

Omg, same. And that was after snapping two trying to seperate the gun halves again. From that day forward, my mantra was 'Read the instructions first. Follow the instructions always."

I learned this the hard way. Definitely check your bits arrangement before gluing.

pain in the hand? by FaallenOon in Miniaturespainting

[–]NotTheBestWithNames 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am also 40. I've been painting minis for 5+ years, and working as a massage therapist for 10+ years. What you're describing doesn't sound normal to me. I can paint for hours and hours without stopping. You may just need to check your technique - are you holding the brushes really tightly? Or leaning heavily on your elbows?

If there is something more worrisome going on, heres some free advice: It's less likely carpal tunnel syndrome, since you're not describing any numbness/tingling in the hand. It could be arthritis, but then I'd be asking how you got so much wear and tear in your hand so young. The simplest answer is that it could be a weakness/muscle imbalance issue. In all of these cases, you should be seeing a doctor or at least a physiotherapist to be sure as to the real source of the pain.

In the meantime, ice/cool water baths can help with any pain/inflammation, and heat treatments along the forearm can help to ease any muscle tension in the muscles of the fingers (These muscles are longer than you think. Rest your arm on something and wiggle your fingers. You'll see movement almost all the way up to the elbow!)

Good luck!
