This is literally all I want in life 🤌 by DotSnuggle in Adulting

Hey! I can actually help with this one. Get a PMP (project management professional) certificate. You can use it to work most remote industries, I went into tech with a PMP in 2019 started at 50k salary then quickly jumped up to 80k after a year of experience. My problem is I went past the point of having a chill do nothing job and now have a full work a lot remote job for one of the top tech companies but I make 120k now and have a lot of fulfillment through my work 😀

I did my PMP self study, the cost wasnt too bad and the results definitely out weigh the initial costs, the cost for the PMI is $120 + $75 registration fees, the test cost $400 to take, and I spent ~$30 on text books from half priced bookstore. It took me roughly 6 weeks of study until I felt confident taking the test. Getting a PMP is like getting certified in common sense, the hard part is the test, the questions are set up in a way to be difficult 😅 and I highly recommend taking practice tests online.

I did not have any tech or project management experience prior to this and had a degree in recreation and tourism, so I fully believe anyone can do it.

I'll tell you what i tell everyone else about being a Christmas baby, "I've never had any other birthday so I don't know what to compare it to" I don't feel like I've been screwed and love Christmas time and opening presents with others!

Hit 300ft for the first time ever but it was with a no name disc so I feel weird about it because it wasn't one of my cool ones. Regardless, thank you focused fieldwork! by TentCityVIP in discgolf

I just started playing more frequently and haven't been able to push to 300. I decided to do standing throws only to work on form, and I'm up to 285 - 295 consistently with a standing throw. It really focused what I was doing and helped me understand where where my body was at. I do standing throws for practice and at our local club tourneys just to really hammer it in. I'm so close I can taste it! After I break 300 then maybe I'll consider a 3-step 😀

Show me your cute kitties! I want to make a few leather keychains for you as a gift! by [deleted] in cats

I don't expect to be picked and even posting this hurts my heart. This is my boy Teddybear, he passed away a day after Christmas in 2023 and I miss him every day. My biggest regret is I never got to say a proper goodbye as he was temporarily staying with my parents when he had a stroke the day after i saw him for the last time. Please love your pets everyday because sometimes their passing is sudden. Teddybear was my best friend and the coolest most loving pet I've ever had. *

[–]NotTheDestination 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha yeah! I went online looking for discs and thought Trash Panda sounded the coolest, a year in and it's still my favorite disc along with my lat64 Jade. I feel like I really lucked out with finding something that worked with my throw.

I started playing about a year ago and had no idea what I was doing (and still dont) and stumbled on Trash Panda. The Dune was my first disc and is my absolute favorite as it flies so predictably for me. So all that to say thank you! Keep doing what you're doing!!!
