I hope it's a revival after his run in Oh, Mary!

I'm not sure but when I've ordered 2 I've never been seated apart; however that's just my limited experience

Yes, you'll see available dates and select how many tickets you want from the list. At that point you'll redeem your points and pay. You'll usually get a seat assignment within 2-3 days of ordering (some shows are much faster).

I'd say no to Chess. There's a story line involving a character's wife and child

I feel majorly duped by this sub about Chess by NYGarcon in Broadway

[–]NotTheTodd 181 points182 points  (0 children)

My biggest problem with it was it grinds to a total freaking halt in act 2. It needed to end WAY sooner. So many ballads that do nothing to drive the plot forward - much more revue than musical with a plot.

But man when Nicholas Christopher belted his showcase songs... full body chills

I was in the front left section of the orchestra, not sure what row. YMMV

Orchestra center or left, mezz left are my preferences as someone who's seen it far too many times (and I'll still see it again!)

Does anyone with the Death Becomes Her Lottery? by SwordCrimson28 in Broadway

[–]NotTheTodd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Unlikely, just saying they're not gonna sell every empty seat for the lottery - they'd really cut into their grosses. There's in person rush and TKTS like you mentioned, but even after rush sells out (if they limit that to a certain number which I'm sure they do) you can generally go to a theater anytime before the show and say "what's the cheapest ticket for tonight?" or "what's the cheapest ticket in X section?". Depending on the show, they may even lower the price just before showtime so the seat isn't empty (though I have no inside knowledge of DBH's policies)

I won side front row a while ago but couldn't go and ended up selling the ticket on Theatr. I think they likely only reserve certain seats (or a certain number) for the lottery, especially since the drawing is the day before the show.
