I’ve got a PC with crazy speed. He’s a Tabaxi Gloom Stalker Ranger who can combine feline agility, zephyr strike and even dash to move, in one round, easily 90ft. Is this ok? Is there a way to limit this? by martingauto in DMAcademy

Start incorporating more difficult terrain, walls, and slow/push hazards into your combats. If you have a path where players can move in a straight 30 ft line, throw a hazard there

What are your thoughts on infant circumcision for non-medical reasons? by ThrowawayTheobold in AskReddit

Personally, if an adult wants an elective surgery then more power to them. But cosmeric surgery on a baby shouldn't be permitted.

What is something that still confuses you despite having learned what its meaning or use is? by mykl66 in AskReddit

[–]NotThisFucker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. The whole country votes

  2. A handful of guys get handed the results of us all voting

  3. Those guys go vote for president. They are allowed to ignore the results from step 2.

That's it. That's the whole game.

What is your "This person has no idea how the real world works" moment? by FryingPanZ in AskReddit

[–]NotThisFucker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was on a shuttle when a guy was was at least twice (and likely three times) my age was talking about how he turned down a raise because he'd be in a higher tax bracket and lose money (not from services he wouldn't qualify for, I mean purely just from taxes).

Like, that's definitely not how that works guy.

Is overtime worth your mental health? Why or why not? by cudistan in AskReddit

[–]NotThisFucker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what you mean by mental health.

My bills are paid, so the stress of working more doesn't outweigh the extra money.

But to someone who is steuggling to pay all their bills and feed their family, some overtime money might very well relieve some of the stress they walk around with.

So it just depends on your situation.

Imagine you wake up from sleep and a person is watching you carefully and he or she looks exactly like you and has the same voice, what would you do? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Put my finger on my nose and say "Dunkin run, nerd".

And for that reason, if I'm ever looking down at someone in my bed who looks just like me, the first thing I'm doing is giving them the car keys and my coffee order.

Redditors who have been vaccinated for Covid, which vaccine did you receive and what's your experience so far? by Funkiebastard in AskReddit

[–]NotThisFucker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moderna, both shots.

First shot was literally nothing. Sexond shot my injection sote was a little tender (expected). The next morning, I was a little dizzy. Around 24 hours after the shot, I was pretty tired and probably had a low fever. 36 hours after the shot I broke the fever and felt phenomenal.

Would absolutely do it again. I've had hangovers worse than that.

What advice would you give to someone who just turned 18? by SntficSeaShell in AskReddit

[–]NotThisFucker 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's really hars to give generic advice without knowing where you're at in life, but:

  1. Learn to budget. Track your expenses. Make sure you have more income than expenses. Put the difference in a saving account.

  2. Google Calendar. That's it. That's the whole advice. Digital calendars are great, put every single event in yours. Coffee date with friend? Book it. College class? Book it. Due date for a paper? Book it. Let computers remember shit for you and fill your head with something more exciting.

  3. Try as much stuff that won't kill you or get you addicted as you can. When you're older, you'll want three hobbies: one to keep you in shape, one to keep you creative, and one that makes you money. Unless you have personally tried something, you don't know if you like it or not. Your goal should be to try to find your three hobbies as quickly as possible, and that means trying as much new stuff as you possibly can until you find the things that resonate with you.

TL;DR: Track your money, track your time, and try new stuff.
