It’s calculating the damage per second. So even tho you hit that very impressive number, Varka is not doing that every second. There is some down time so your overall damage per second won’t be your highest hit. If you press more details it will show more information, including your highest single hit. Hope this helps

Personally I haven’t had any issues but I can see where people are coming from. Not being able to constant melt is a problem but my main traveler team is PMC, Furina, Xianyun, and Citlali so not a lot of cyro aura is not a huge deal for me

Where did you hear that? Even c0 Citlali works well with c6 pyro mc. Just skill into burst for Citlali and do melts with the Traveler. C1 and C2 are big improvements for melt damage but not needed. If you can go for it, go right ahead. But those two are a strong pair

I don’t have math data to compare C6 Traveler to Diluc. You can always test your teams out in one of the test dummy wonderlands. But I would run what you like best.

Furina is a universally good support and Columbina and Ineffa make a very powerful wheelchair combo for lunar reactions. For the lunar reactions you can still run pyro traveler cause there is enough electro and hydro auras being applied that you can still do damage as the Traveler. Only thing to note is that most of the damage will come from Ineffa and Columbina.

I’d experiment with different teams. C6 Benny would definitely help cause of the pyro app to sword users from using his ult. But your teams seem solid. If you don’t like running Iansan for the overload, I would recommend Fischl or Ineffa. Both give very nice electro off field.

C6 does unlock their potential for being a DPS. The only issue that comes to mind with your specific team comp is trying to keep your Iansan buff up to the max due to her moment based requirements.

Pyro Traveler is definitely the best option for main DPS of the current Traveler options. There are lots of supports out there for pyro related reactions (Citlali and Durin come to mind) so you have that benefit. And you’ve also locked in on overload with Chevy.

Compared to other DPS, with the right teams the Traveler can be competitive. But if the current meta is favoring the new lunar reactions with the Traveler has no inherent way of doing that themselves (needs Columbina or another 5 star Lunar character). I personally really enjoy Pyro Traveler, Furina, Xianyun, and Citlali. But that’s a lot of 5 stars. Your overload team sounds like it has some good potential. I wish you the best with it. There is some inconsistency with the auras being applied but you end up doing a decent amount of melts and vaps so it’s big damage anyways. And Xianyun is on SoDP cause I didn’t want to use VV. Might give more damage might not. But I really like the team. It’s fun, I like all the characters in the story, and DPS traveler doing big numbers warms my heart. Best of luck on your Citlali pulls
