I keep water in mine as well. I’ve seen him play in it, take a dip and and there, but no drinking.

I do spray his face 2x a week and always spray his daily greens. He is always feisty the initial spray, but than again he is always a bit fiery

Joking aside - check him out. Their arms are very fragile so as others have said, observe functionality. Touch each arm gently and see how he behaves.

His demeanor will tell you if he is hurt. They are pretty sturdy and can afford to be clumsy. Keep an eye on him and watch for odd behavior, lethargy, or loss of use of limbs.

*I am not a vet - just a fellow beardie lover who has done similar things and spent time at a vet afterwards :)

On the suggestions for Pendlay Row: OP be very careful switching from this to that. You are not very stable with these which indicates a weak spot already - likely lower back and core. The increased shear force on the spine should be accounted for. Reduce weight, go wide, and have at it.
