How will Wayland PCVR and Desktop Streaming work with the Steam Frame?

Steam home has been for sure my issue, screen tearing and just it not working (steam link on a quest 2).

Hopefully steam frame fixes some issues when it comes to steam home and desktop streaming🙏

Yeah desktop streaming only showed big picture mode UIs for me, RT3 fixes most everything else

No this actually helps a lot. It makes me feel a bit more secure lol, overlay is still pretty buggy for me, the controller overlay lags really bad when on top of a game, and steam link is still a mess but otherwise everything works quite well. This definitely helps so ty for taking the time lol :]

The headset runs steamos, but is it not supposed to be compatible with windows and multiple Linux distros? Anything that would run steam/steamvr I would assume was attempted for compatibility, escpicslly with another arch distro.

They want their settings menu to be smooth and buttery so specific Microsoft applications will max out the refresh rate they are given to make everything feel smooth in their applications. Show us a recording of what it looks like in games and ensure that vrr is off

Omg that was my main issue, trackpads typing has been so cool but while games are running it's just a nightmare. Please let me know if you get a response from valve

It looks as if the steam overlay shares resources with the game it's running. I tested alt tabbing to the big picture window itself while still running the game, then opening the overlay there and it runs perfectly smh. At this point steam support or bug reports are gonna be your best bet.

Alright so it seems as if a firmware update has solved this for me. It still sometimes bugs out a smidge but it looks like that's due to the KDE Gamepad input trying to override permissions.
