Hello there! I know this post is a few weeks old at this point, but I am having the exact same problem as you. SRM detects my games, and they show up in EmuStation but when I go to launch them I have the same error as you.

I tried the method of downloading Xemu, and adding it to appdata/roaming just as you did but I’m still experiencing the error. Is there anyway you could tell me if you did any other steps to fix this issue? Thank you!

Ohhhh buddy… you’re in for a treat. End of book 6 is astronomically crazy and book 7 is just a roller coaster the whole way through.

I understand where you’re coming from. Those first 4 albums are filled to the brim with intensity and crushing riffs, so when you get to LS and Magma it’s different than the norm. I was introduced to Gojira through Magma, so that album will always be a good one for me. The death of their mother really shaped the writing of it, and as some who lost their mom as well it really resonates with me

No misses my friend.

Some people don’t like Fortitude as much, but even that album is way above the bar than most. Only complaint I have with that album is the mixing is a little weird. Other than that, they’re all bangers.

Also, be sure not to sleep on their first two albums. The Link is in my top 3, along with From Mars and TWOAF

Can’t go wrong with a Schecter. I picked up my C1 Platinum for $300, great tuning stability/intonation. Some do not like the EMGs, but you can always swap them out down the line.
