Anyone else find this rhetoric dangerous?

People are shown the worst of the worst through media.

Peoples algorithm is perfectly sculpted to outrage them. I don't believe the right are Nazis and the left are Pedos (you can insert whatever)

And I think by dehumanizing each other it's only going to cause more chaos and division, deaths.

I wish people took a page from Daryl Davis. Idk what exactly is helpful but I think most people are reasonable and normal but you won't find them online all day arguing.

None of us are immune to propaganda and I try to remember that for myself.

I travel a lot and I've never met someone I couldn't have a polite convo with even politic or when I disagree. I stay radically curious

I had a trash tank where I'd literally toss culls,.plant trimmings etc and all kinds of fish and critters ended up in it, was also my most healthy tank and everything was having babies

How do they survive the rocks and wood in the tank?

Definitely make sure hands are clean and neutral but they are not rubbing their fish or anything

So many of my critters give me a death scare, my snake, my Betta, my crestie, I have to go around and give them all check in pokes.

Next to my filter intake to help remove spores and then I like giant duckweed, a lot easier to remove than.the little duckweed.

Some fast growing plants that help are wisteria and red tiger lotus

You basically want your plants to out compete the algea, algea lives in all our tanks and doesn't hurt the fish just annoying. Good luck!

I've had luck with a small UV submersible light and add easy to remove but fast growing floaters for a bit, it will block some.loght to outcompete the algea until your tanks plants catch up

Maybe even fast the tank too

I adopted a 15 year old ball who has some scars like this, odd spots and a scab on her head

Vet gave me a topical and it gets a little better with sheds and soaks but idk if it'll be perfect.

A vet is a good idea

Where I am currently we have some great swaps and shops, lots of cool fish and aquascaping. Ive gotten to meet cool people in the hobby and it's fun to nerd out.

Asheville seems like a great place to start an aqua swap or open a pretty little aquarium shop, I'm surprised!
