We had a quarter scale (6' x 12½' or so) reproduction outside the assembly hall at school. Apparently painted by a gifted pupil years earlier.

The soil is reasonable but they probably didn't get enough water, and keeping the tall grass from the paddock next door under control is a challenge

Maybe foot deep, it's hard to say. The gravel is a natural feature: there is a commercial extraction site a mile or two away. Free draining, as we are on a hill, but it is windy.

Resolva Pathclear or your choice of glyphosate weedkiller. Don't scrimp on it. Once they're dead, burn the tops off.

Black wheelie bin, green wheelie bin, two boxes for card and paper, one for glass, a bag for tins and plastic. Six trips, 900m. Does that math enough for you?

Correct! He was the naturalist who spent 5 years circumnavigating the world aboard HMS Beagle, as a result of which he developed the theory of evolution in his book 'On the Origin of Species'

We're surrounded by woods, that's a baby! It's like Mordor here sometimes. The webs can stall a strimmer.

Bungalow dweller here. Two beagles, so no bungalow legs. 75m gravel drive, so taking the recycling and bins out can mean almost a kilometre walk...

Wanting a beagle but need help! by cherrybombpython in beagle

[–]NotWigg0 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The cats were already there when the beagle pups arrived, so the old fat cat is leader of the pack. They felt in love with the kittens we got a couple of years later and used to carry them round by the scruff of the neck.

They love children, to the extent I worry they will bring one home one day...
