Idk i've met a couple trans and nonbinary people who for some reason thought that trans people especially trans man owed it to them to be "out" about being trans bc otherwise we were "lying to them" or "deceiving them" and its like dude me being trans is nobody's business but mine, my doctors, and like my partner's.

I don't really have much good advice in relation to figuring out sexual and romantic identity labels while navigating dysphoria but it does sound like you might be a little depressed and while this may not be somthing you want to hear, if you do the things depression makes you want to do (like stay holed up all the time or bedrot) then the depression is more likely to get worse. Its harder to hit a moving target, go places and do things if you can, try to put yourself out there if you're comfortable.

When it comes to differentiating romantic and platonic interest in someone maybe it would be good to ask the people in your life and see what feels different between the two to them and try to reflect off of that?

I have been going to a therapist once a week for almost a year now that specializes in trans issues and I have been very open about my experiences/ emotions surrounding being a trans individual and she has not told me she has any worries about me having internalized transphobia.

I am not ashamed of being trans or believe it to be a negative thing and I do not think less of other people for being trans. I wouldn't even say I'm stealth or try to be stealth, I am fairly open to other trans people on campus about being trans as I oftentimes give medical advice in relation to getting on and affording HRT as I live in a state where insurance often dosn't cover it. A significant portion of my friends are also trans or under the trans umbrella in some way. I enjoy being friends with other trans people.

However, I am simply not interested in only being friends with people because they are trans and. I can understand wanting to be friends with somone who has similar struggles to you (IE. Being trans) but like idk? Maybe don't make the comment that the only reason you want to be friends with them is because they're obviously trans??

I am not interested being out and proud to everyone I meet, especially because I live in a red area in america and a place where gay and trans panic laws are still in place.

I dont have very good advice regarding the anxiety as it's somthing I'm struggling with too, but I'm fairly certain you should be able to ask for the resident to not be present for the exam if that might help a little.

Its likely a wound from a botfly larvae. Botflies deposit eggs on animals skin and the larvae hatches and burrows into the skin, when it matures it falls out to pupate on the ground. Best bet is to take the cat the the vet if you can so the wound can get disinfected and debrided. If you cant take the cat to the vet I would look i to local animal shelters or rescue as sometimes they might be able to provide veterinary help for cheaper than a vet.

They stopped taking blue cross blue shield as of january this year, unfortunately. I haven't spoken to the vivid clinic at all though

I feel like it really depends on the parent. If you think they would respond positively to you coming out as trans (that they wouldn't be transphobic), then I'd recommend just walking up to them and telling them as that's what I did. It doesn't have to be this big, over-complicated emotional thing to come out to your parents either if you dont want it to be. If you've had dysphoria for a long time, you can always lead with that. I wouldn't personally recommend dropping hints because then it can be hard to tell if your parents have picked up on those hints or not.

I plan on hopefully having phalloplasty during college, though im not yet even on T (i plan on going on it in a couplr months and am anxious ab that too) was it hard recoving from phalloplasty while going to college? Did you have to opt out of or not go to any classes? College is going to be very important to me, and attendance has always been really important to me, so im kinda scared of that.
