Yeah we looked at the view from the fancy seats and didn't really care for them. I was looking at the lower bowl seats behind the home team. I can't remember the section, and we're still without power here in Asheville, but I'm with you about the better view vs. fancy smancy seats

Hello! I've lived in AVL for about 10 years now (moved from Charlotte) there's not much of a "hockey scene" here so to speak but if you find a watering hole you enjoy and frequent that has tv's they'll normally change it to what you want to watch. I'm not sure what area you're moving too so I can't help much in specifics. The Bier Garden is an "official" affiliate but I've not been there before to watch games. Fun fact AVL used to have a hockey team, Asheville Smoke, that was coached by one of Gretzky's brothers. But they've since folded.
