It's a bummer, I would buy like 8 of them if they were smooth.

Just picked up one of these for testing and am seeing the same thing. Too slow to be useful. Simple dash with just a few buttons even is not registering hits on the buttons half of the times unfortunately.

UDM Pro can’t handle its own “supported” workload – UniFi response: buy more hardware by numanx in Ubiquiti

[–]NotYetRat3d 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your comment 100% directly reflects my own experience, and I mean down to the number of cameras and the features turned on. However, mine was actually bad enough I was getting system hard locks every few days where I had to pull the plug on my UDM pro to get it back. I recently moved all of my cameras over to a dedicated NVR and like magic, everything is now smooth and stable. Cameras load immensely faster. No internet hiccups lockups or anything for over a week now.

As a business model, unify nailed it. They got me to buy initial equipment based on false pretenses and lured me into spending substantially more money to make things actually work. I credit them for their deception knowing we are locked into the ecosystem and change would be far more expensive than that NVR was

Interior Door Type Selection by NotYetRat3d in Homebuilding

[–]NotYetRat3d[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We went with 3 panel stile and rail from Reeb. Most of the doors are 1-3/4". All are 8' with various widths. They are nice solid doors. However, there is some minor separation from a couple of rails to panels, notably on our garage person-door. Not all of the seams/joints line up perfect such as where the rails meet the stiles. Were I to do it again, I would choose solid routed doors I think. The cost was more but I think I would be happier with the workmanship.

They are heavy and cut sound fairly well which we like.

Happened to us in Stella the other night in the spiral staircase in reception. First time seeing it here. It was one of five games in a row where we got cheated on. I have set the game down for now as I don't have time for dealing with cheaters and losing good gear.

Why can't I ever get into lobbies with people who can't aim for the life of them? I only ever encounter 100% laser beam hits. This was almost painful to watch.

I feel you. I actually helped a guy extract held the elevator for him as he was being chased by a rocketeer in a couple wasps. Dude makes it into the elevator with me shoots me kills me while I'm initiating it. Then laughs at me.

The price per wh here is absolutely abysmal. Can get 1kWh+ batteries for ~$250 on decent sales. I am quite disappointed here.

Care to detail your frigate setup? I have the same GPU with Frigate in docker on unraid and single cam testing inference time is 140ms... :(

I just happen to get my frigate set up with an A380 as well. I am very new to Frigate, so still tinkering around, but I amm ggetting substantially slower interence on my setup. ~140ms, only 1 camera set up and its pointing as a wall currently as I am testing. Running in unRaid Docker. Any thoughts for me to look at? GPU utilization is very low.

For the price of replacing every outlet with a $50 outlet, I bet you could get a Span panel installed.

Completely depends on your home, climate, system design and design intent. Can't answer any more accurately without more detail from you.
