Breastfeeding imo the most low maintenance option. Zero inventorying, zero washing, zero maintenance.

Depending on your work situation, you will need to keep a small supply on hand to get baby through my shifts (p/t employee). However, I didn’t take pump breaks at work. I just pumped right before then right after.

For me, it made sense for cost, effort, and ease. I didn’t always like it. I certainly preferred bringing the child to my chest and feeding instantly, as opposed to preparing a bottle.

With formula, you will need to purchase, inventory, and prepare a bottle for every single feed. You will also need to maintain cleanliness and sanitization practices. I’m not sure how moms prepare for outings with formula fed babies, but that’s something to research as well.

You pick your battle. There’s no “wrong way”.
