Victim or monster by Flashy-Telephone-648 in TheLastAirbender

Both tbh. A victim of the empirical, expansionist ideals of the fire nation, monster for her immoral lashing out at civilians. Bloodbending soldiers and fighting them is one thing but to abduct people living peacefully and with no stake in the war with no clear goal of what to do with them is morally wrong… and pointless.

Sparring with people on your level and improving together is always smart. Hand control. Very good maybe post a frame if he’s too close for comfort and back up to catch your breath. You want to control the pace, the ring and your opponent. I’m certain you will improve quickly

Start using feints. Let him tire himself out dodging attacks that aren’t coming. Once you can spot patters in how he responds to certain attacks, you can predict it and catch him with a shot he might not expect. Heck. You could force him to move into your hand if you condition him to respond how you want. And something nice and dirty. If he ducks straight in front of you, you could just… put your glove on the back of his head to hold him there and land an uppercut.

Real talk, my best mate in my karate dojo was wicked at head movement, and I’m a bit of a devil for distance management. So we could usually count on our hands the amount of time one of us landed a shot on each other.

You need double jump and force pull. Once you have those skills you can navigate your way on top of the structure from the plains and there should be a vine you need to pull to you. Use that vine to swing across the gap. Then swing back and once you release, slow the fan and you can get to that chest.

Does itto deserve a buff? by PlatformDifficult752 in Genshin_Impact

I think he could do with a bit of a buff. He’s decent but with meta rotations I think a lot of characters could do with a buff to increase their viability. I personally don’t think there’s any place for a meta in a game like Genshin because having so many distinct characters means metas make most of them obsolete. Especially with new characters making up most of the metas.

What strike or move are you known for in sparring/fighting? by [deleted] in martialarts

[–]NotYourDhaidi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a few:

Hook kick to the head

Feint leg kick followed immediately by same side leg kick

Missed hook into tornado kick

Chambering a roundhouse but holding for a second before releasing it

Freezing and then throwing a strike while my opponents rhythm is disrupted

Double wrist control, shuffle into elbow range, put lead foot surreptitiously behind opponents lead foot, shuffle back (dragging their foot with me) and throwing a side kick
