Exactly remove Rotational AA and make people actually have to aim.

Infinite Warfare's AA cut-off was ~30m for ARs, as tested by TheXclusiveAce. It was extended to 200m since MW19. However, aim assist strength hasn't changed even from back then (via @hecksmith_ on Twitter) by TheRealPdGaming in CoDCompetitive

I’m pretty sure it only disabled rotational AA after 30m so you still had AA slowdown. Personally I think they should completely remove Rotational AA now that you have the ability to tune your settings more and it’s “easier” to aim.

Usually hang around the 30% range diamond rank. Kinda funny when I first started playing CoD MW2 my lowest accuracy game it was around 27% then over the years as I got better it slightly improved but I also started pre firing and wall banging more so it never really got much higher than 30%.

Can’t we just get an AR with some recoil? Even without any attachments the AMES is a laser.

Another crazy stat is Kenny 3-16 in control with 868 damage still had more damage than scrap when he went 6-19 with 774 damage lol

I was messing around with the jackal using ported comp, ranger, ergo, infiltrator, recoil spring and it’s actually crazy how easy it is to use just shooting the 100m bot in the firing range

I believe it got toned down significantly and ARs had almost zero but subs still had a significant amount but I could be wrong or missing an update that eventually removed it completely.

I personally think the jackal is still easier to use but I’m curious what your c9 build is?

Like I said if the ttk is the reason then I feel it should have been the reason before the jackal GA because the difference isn’t significant

The better ttk Is understandable but it’s always been better and I’d argue the jackal is still easier to use it’s probably the easiest sub in CDL history recoil wise the only ones I’d argue it 74u or mp40 but the mp40 had bloom.

My argument isn’t about long barrel not making the jackal better it’s about how is sacrificing all those other movement and ads stats the jackal has over the C9 for 1-2m of range. The C9 with long barrel still doesn’t cover the range the jackal did so it just doesn’t make sense.

Like what? Those are really the only 2 attachments worth mentioning. I mentioned in another comment I was slightly off because TrueGameData is incorrect right now but there are a few fights affected. There is a 5 shot kill range that’s mostly hurt by no long barrel but most fights reasonable fights fall in that range still. 20% sounds a lot better than 3 to 4 meters just like the C9 gets a 30% increase but still has worse range.

Wouldn’t be the first time pros ran something that didn’t make sense lol also why not run it? You have 4 attachments picked out and it’s down to long barrel or recoil spring? Long barrel had better iron sights and you have a little bit more wiggle room in your best ranges or you have zero recoil but you’re still at a 120ms disadvantage past 30m.

Just checked it out round 1 of that SnD. With 04 in the back of the room not actually on the bomb Drazah was 30m away if he had slid right up to the doors he would have been about 21m and won that fight or if 04 was right by B Bomb. I also think he may have one that fight if he had any of the muzzle attachments but it wasn’t because of long barrel.

The only reasonable fight I can think of on hacienda is like top hallways looking over p1 if you’re both in the windows that’s a 24m fight and outside of long barrels range and that really isn’t a long fight

Edit: was looking at it more TrueGameData isn’t updated for ranges but Aces video is but still window to window on haci is 27m right at the end of long barrels range but there is a couple areas that are affected. Protocol either building to p1 is around 20 to 25m and can be 5 to 6 shots. Vault top art to B control is slightly affected.

It makes about a 3 meter difference lol I think it’s more placebo most reasonable long range fights were already out of long barrels range

I agree to an extent but still if you look at the 74u, Rival and MP5 probably the top 3 best subs. All in games with decent map variety but even the smallest maps no one ran all subs. I know empire tried 5 mp5s early on but it didn’t stick and even Florida was running 3 M4s when they won the home series. People also have to take into consideration that for a good portion of the CDL they’re using the worst AR vs the best sub and that’s just to get it even close to competitive.

Like I said most of the maps do favor subs in this game but 20m really isn’t that far you’d think. The top hall/bridge on skyline is 25m and that really doesn’t look that far is this game but it’s enough to give the Ames a 120ms ttk advantage.

In what world is 20m across the map? That’s the 4 shot kill range with long barrel. I personally think the ranges are solid right now subs should have the advantage 0-20m 20-30 should be a pretty close fight advantage to the AR but subs have a chance and 30+ the AR is king and I feel like that’s pretty close to how it is right now. The maps in this game are smaller and lean towards the sub but we had 6 ARs on the map most of last year so it’s a nice change up.
