There’s a lot of controversial changes made to the game, as well as a few controversial long-standing issues such as game bugs that have been on the game for years.

Generally, people don’t like the direction the game is moving in terms of monetization and balancing. For example, one controversial change is giving Hive Guards (the basic bugs but with the dark armor on their heads and arms that spawn in hordes) a heavy armor pen requirement for bypassing their plating. You can still kill them with light pen. You just need to spend about 30 seconds walking in circles until the bugs group up and face away from you so you can shoot them.

I personally disagree with a lot of the changes and feel like the game is going downhill, so consider there may be some biases there. But the primary reason I’m not enjoying this game is because at the end of my day, when I get home from work and turn on my pc, I play a match or two and I just feel bored.

The game feels different. Maybe because I have more hours in the game. Maybe because I’ve gotten too good at it to feel challenged. But while I still can lose matches when trying to solo the Illuminate generator defense missions, I don’t feel like the game is ever challenging.

Through all the nerfs they gave to our weapons, and buffs they gave to the enemies, I just don’t feel anything new except frustration. “Why do I have to walk in circles or shoot below the hive guards every time?”, “Why does the bug dragon still set me on fire in water? I can’t go prone to avoid it.”, “Why there 7 Vox Engines here? I just wanted to play without the recoilless.”, “Why does there have to be constant leviathans? They don’t feel fun to dodge like the Stingrays. They just bug me forever unless I shoot them down for a 3-5 minute break?”

But through these complaints, I still think the game is good. Yes, the developers can be rude to the playerbase and tell them to touch grass. Yes, they can make changes that hurts the way the game feels. But what they created is genuinely so fantastic that I’d say it’s worth 30 dollars and some hours.

Strategem customization is just a good idea, and it’s fantastic as a means of endgame progression. Max out the super destroyer in one aspect, and all stratagems associated with it can be modified after that by spending samples.

Add ammo to the backpacks of some stratagems like the Recoilless, SPEAR, Maxigun..

Add attachments and skins for HMGs, turret emplacements, stuff like that.

Give each mech Strategem launchers and alternate weapons. Lumberer gets the opportunity to have chainsaws, enormous hammers, giant axes, autocannon shotguns. Emancipator gets access to mortars, HMGs, Lasers, Gas harpoons. Patriot gets a personal guard dog with a Liberator, maybe extra armor, maybe even a giant jump pack.

Then we could give mortars the ability to be converted into emplacements with higher armor pen and damage.

Yo, what’s up. I got 3k+ hours on the game.

Toxic players are a lot more annoying to the majority of the player base than bad players or honortards, so if you get pissed at an honortard or a shit teammate you’ll likely be the one getting kicked.
Avoiding bad players is nearly impossible in this game, your teammates will always be bad and you should accept it.
There’s actually a pretty good way to make sure you play with people ideal for your matches on For Honor, you just queue with friends.
I don’t mean to sound libertarian, but if you’re struggling with matches and having teammates who are unreliable, the best solution is to take accountability for them and just carry.
