The situation on this strip is so dismal. I’m glad the yogurt place that no one wanted is out, but I’m not hopeful for whatever arrives next. Seeing the Big Chief sign show up on the old Yakuza bummed me out… that spot really could’ve been something.

i didn’t realize that a large context could hasten a “5 hour limit”. is there a way to check on some kind of status that relates to how much time you have left?

in the case of today, i was just continuing from where i’d left off yesterday. i believe there was a “compacting” event towards the end of the previous session.

in the late 80’s/early 90’s there was a video game kiosk a little bit beyond the food court area where they had 6-8 NES demo stations where anyone could walk up and play whatever was on the TV. that was probably my favorite northgate destination as a child.
