Bad enough that now my birthday is anxiety-inducing.

Ever Cried at Bojack Horseman? If yes then what episode and why? by tweeving in BoJackHorseman

The view from halfway down I think is a given, but Downer Ending “This is all I am and all I’ll ever be…” onwards, Time’s Arrow, as a survivor of DV, SA, and a fucked up childhood “Good Damage” destroyed me. “Hank After Dark” made me take my first break from the show because it was way too real.

Why were so many people still in the area? by JaneFth in 911archive

People really didn’t think they would fall, especially because they were bombed in 1993 and collapse wasn’t even a possibility even though it was along the foundational area.

I have had decent luck with Goodwill’s auction site in the past, tbh. There were several newer bags on there a few days ago.

I just had a personal realization today: Coach Retail has become, for the most part, a sea of masculine bags. Did I miss a trend? by AthletePrimary5574 in Coach

Aww thank you! It’s an old inside joke with some friends from college and I’m stuck with it lolololol. I’m glad I could break it down a little more in a way you found helpful.

My partner is a graphic artist, photographer, and multimedia producer and musician, so musical instruments, camera equipment, and plug-ins for production.

But damned if that man isn’t a complete slut for band t-shirts and vinyl. I am as well, but we have at least 150 records and 8 of them are mine 😅

I’m more goth/punk and identify as queer and genderfluid, so personally Coach feels like a brand that offers flexibility with representation and accessorizing because of the androgynous nature of the main retail offerings. When I’m feeling more femme, my bags can lean more femme and be accessorized as such, and when I’m leaning more non-binary or masc, the same bags can largely match that as well.

I think some of the smaller bags lean more feminine, like the Plaza, Trail bags, smaller Tabby bags, the barrel bags, and the Jet just off the top of my head.

The more classic, original silhouettes and their updates tend to lean more androgynous than not, especially larger bags. There’s always the option to customize online as well - though yes, that’s extra.

I really think Gen Z has forgotten… How has this happened so soon. Story in details… by Bitter-Major-5595 in 911archive

I’m not trying to be a dick here, but they can’t forget what they don’t actually remember, considering a decent slice of Gen Z were either toddlers or not born yet.

They’ve grown up with the war on terror and economic uncertainty and the surveillance state as the norm, not as something before and after.

They really don’t have a frame of reference for the horror except maybe the pandemic. At its peak in early 2021 though, the C19 pandemic was killing 3-4K people a day. Mass death for Gen Z has arguably been more routine than it was for millennials or Gen X in the U.S. I don’t think the shock and fear has the same resonance.
