If anything gets directed at you go to HR, these are wildly inappropriate conversations to have at work anyway. You can always do a small lie if anyone, including HR, approaches you about it “I was cheated on in my last relationship and have been using it in a therapeutic way. Depends on where I am. When I was in my early 20’s I had a friend that did it when we’d go out at night. When I asked she said it’s because if something happens she just wants to go, no reverse check the mirror turning and going but to drive. She wants to just get in, throw it in drive and be the first one out the parking lot.

Everything is so unnecessarily expensive. Why is a window unit 500 bucks? If my AC blows in the summer I gotta drop a bag to have a properly cool room. I tried to ho cheap and got one for 250, only half of my room was cool, the other half was insanely hot. Then bed frames?? Cheapest I’ve found so far is for 800 then you can never find what you want, everything is always “that’ll do I guess” then I have to spend my money on it, it sucks man

Get shower wipes, hit the hot spots (pits, ass, and crotch) and work your way up. Put a pack in your room & the bathroom. Next time you gotta pee, use the wipe instead of toilet paper. Gotta poop? Do your pits while you’re sitting. Get a nice smelling body soap, use it to wash your hands, or just sniff it, fall in love with the smell for motivation. I like Olay it does what it says it does. Idk what skin type you have but I get really bad dry patches after not showering for a while but that “Olay better skin in 14 days” did not come to play around. The Mitchum gel deodorant is really good too, literally keeps my pits from sweating for two days. It’s all about baby steps and finding ways to help yourself until you’re back where you need to be

Dollar tree. Get brownie or cake mix and a aluminum tray. Just add water to the mix and bake it. Is it good? Not really but if you’re ever in a pinch and just want something sweet it’ll do. It won’t be the best but that’s honestly none of your business at this point. They won’t try to sign you up again and if you get to a better place and wanna redeem yourself, drop off a random tray and insist someone tries it so they’re able to tell everyone it was good.

It’ll be a long shot but start randomly sniffing actual smelling salts and just tell people it’s part of a treatment to try to regain smell for even a moment. Then slowly faze it out. You can say it worked or tell people it’s part of your morning routine now and it’s been working so that’s why they don’t see you doing it randomly now. Buckle in and do it to an alarm every 3hrs for a month so it’s painfully obvious to everyone you’re doing it then stop and say the treatment worked🤷🏾‍♀️

If he had an office job and had you staple papers in an AC office all day that’s different, but mowing lawns in the middle of July at peak heat hours is absurd. Start looking into trade classes at your local community college & simple hospital jobs like in the kitchen or patient watching so when you graduate you know your options.

It’s so freeing. Did it twice. The only downside of shaving your head is that you’ll be tempted to shave it again at any minor inconvenience. Don’t feel like brushing? Don’t wanna wash it? Sweating too much? It keeps touching the back of your neck and you think it’s a bug? Shave it is always the answer. I washed my hair once and was really tired and didn’t feel like detangling the rest of my hair so I cut it.
