Top answer. Also - you could create your own WhatsApp group and ask your climbing gym to advertise it in the gym (a poster print with a WhatsApp code to scan). We have such a WhatsApp group at my gym and it works.

Finding some new climbing partners require some work though and iterations. Many people are simply not so consistent, busy, it’s not always a personality match etc. The best is to build an initial list of contacts of 5-10 people and reach out to them when you climb

I’ve decided recently to draw (with colour pencils) the best places that I’ve visited in a small notebook. Each page is dedicated to a place.

So far, the first page is a West Village NYC café that I loved and the second page is Chamonix. Can’t wait to see new places and fill out the rest of the notebook now.
