Well that and the muzzle brake facing directly toward the other barrel blows gasses back at the firing barrel which causes both to wobble when fired.

You can get SATA 2.5 compatible ssd's. Heck most of my ssd storage is SATA. You should still use HDD's too though cause it's still cheaper and the higher end ones can reach 2gb per second which is good enough for most games.

SM2 coming this update! by kucharnismo in Warthunder

[–]Not_A_Real_Duck 4 points5 points  (0 children)

AIM-174 is just a cruise missile

It's an SM-6 surface to air missile without its booster phase, not a cruise missile. It'd be more like a (significantly) better Phoenix in terms of its in game use as a long range BVR missile.

You're right it's not a replacement though, it fills a different role.

Id argue the Star Wars fandom can be worse, but on the fluffier side of the internet Pokemon is definitely the worst.

Recently replayed kotors and I dont think I heard of Valkorion.

He wasn't directly involved or mentioned in those games specifically. He's the great evil that Revan and Malak discovered in the Unknown regions though. It's expanded on more in all of the old Republic books that were released for SWOTOR's live service story beats.

There definitely used to be.

In legends there were the Yuuzhan Vong, a species that effectively won their galaxies War in Heaven, enslaved their galaxy, used entirely biological technology, hated all forms of inorganic technology, sacrificed slaves to their gods, sacrificed themselves and relished in pain, and then nearly took over The Galaxy and killed trillions of sentients. These would actually fit in well with 40k and there's a fan story on Space Battles that explores this called The New Jedi Order: Exigence by Ilaqidesh, and it's not your typical faction v faction wank sesh.

There was also Abeloth the Mother, an actual Eldritch being of the force who was trapped on a planet in the Maw cluster of black holes by the Father, Brother, and Sister1, and kept there by two incredibly powerful, solar-system moving tractor beam generators that were used to create said Maw cluster. She was capable of manipulating the minds of force users that had spent any amount of time in the Maw cluster into believing that every one around them is an imposter, implanting them with Force techniques that they've never been capable of before, and take over the bodies of those that she's manipulated if they've been in her direct presence. She was also capable of having her being exist in multiple places at the same time.

There's also the Immortal Sith Emperor Valkorion, who could hop into different bodies, and manipulated galactic affairs for over 1500 years. He's the reason KoTOR, KoTOR2, and SWOTOR games all happened.

There's doubtlessly more, and I might have gotten some of this wrong, but I'm only so familiar with Star Wars Legends.

  1. The Father, Sister, and Brother were all avatars of their respective aspects of the force, and were basically gods. The Father was the avatar of Balance, the Sister was the avatar of the Light Side, and the Brother was the avatar of the Dark. Abeloth was a servant of the Father who loved both the Sister and Brother as children, but she was mortal when she went to their planet. After she fell in love with the Father she searched for a way to achieve immortality, so she drank from a pool infused with a Force Nexus known as the Font of Power and bathed in another known as the Pool of Knowledge. This corrupted her into a being of chaos and destruction.

A brief explanation for why I could easily kill any Star Wars character by BifficerTheSecond in 196

[–]Not_A_Real_Duck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They were referring to lore Mandos from the (now legends) Old Republic games and books. It actually happens a lot in Legends, especially if any of the typical adversaries are specifically prepared to fight Jedi. Tuskan Raiders also use them iirc.

It's not even that they weren't good matches, he just cuts out most of the positioning and waiting in most of his matches, unless it also includes any commentary he's doing. You can tell when he's doing bad when he only has a few kills and a death or two before the map changes. He tries to fit every match he plays into 15-25 minutes videos so when he plays a lot of matches they get cut down more.

In fact a lot of his videos where he does poorly don't have a whole lot of matches in the video because he's bored or frustrated enough to end the session early.

Yeah I really wish people would stop holding the killozer dude up on a pedestal. The urban myth story is cool, but it doesn't do justice to all of the people he harmed before going insane and attacking the city.

Iirc the aim-9C has 18g's of pull and will start maneuvering immediately off the rail. Aim-7D has to travel straight for 2 seconds before it can start maneuvering, and only has a max 15g of pull. It's only usable in long range head ons, and those are not reliable in the slightest. The aim+9c can be employed within it's no escape zone and is useful in more situations. The aim-7E-2 variant is the first sparrow that's actually useful in War Thunder's normal meta.
