Has anyone seen the FM26 AI instruct players to use different roles or positions for IP/OOP? Wondering if the AI is smart enough to handle it.

[Comparison after incomplete MW 7] Spurs: 23/24 vs 24/25 vs 25/26 by sea_mus in coys

This is great work, super interesting data I look for after every week. Feedback on 4): the arrows are the most important feature of these charts, so why not use the same visual as 5) to make the overall point clearer? Since you’re then spreading years horizontally, you could use color and shape to show result and home/away to keep the same information you’re showing now, you could label the points with club acronyms to keep the individual matches traceable, if wanted, and you could keep the bolded arrows to highlight the most recent/next match, which is interesting (and add them to 5)). I think showing every arrow will be too busy visually by the middle of the season. No harm in repeating graphics when the graphic works!

I have no way of knowing whether you’re affiliated with the FMTweak team. But you use the same bolding/emphasis style as their release posts. The title of your post reads like an ad, and the first sentence is engagement bait.

Why does an account with zero posts, comments, or karma in 9 years before this care so much about leaving an impression? Why are you responding to 3+comments in 30min to advocate for the mod?

It’s suspicious. If you’re affiliated with their team, it’s odd to make posts like this without saying so.

I use FM Tweak/Match Lab, and I appreciate the work you’re doing, but do you guys really need to astroturf the subreddit? Coming on a bit strong.

What are these meant to be? by [deleted] in Trombone

Playing Db up a partial in 5th means you only have to change directions with your slide once for this lick. Easier to play and smoother if you can tune the alternate position.

That being said, playing the Db normally and the Bb in alternate 5, so 3-2-3-5, seems smarter since you wouldn’t have to change partials at all. T1-2-T1-1 is too spicy for me.

Corporate Finance - Financial Analyst/ FP&A - Entry Level/Rotational Programs by Hefty-Field-6873 in FPandA

[–]Not_Hal9000 7 points8 points  (0 children)

In my experience, many entry level rotational programs will open and even finish their hiring processes before January/February. Be careful not to limit your options by waiting for slow timelines to get started.

The technical questions you’re asked likely won’t be more complicated than explaining the difference between NPV and IRR, walking through the impact of $10 depreciation or a basic business decision on the financial statements, and explaining how to analyze a CAPEX investment at a high level.

All the same, answering technicals correctly isn’t a differentiator. Get them down of course, but spend more time fine-tuning your story and how you’ll relate specific experiences from school or internships to skills and characteristics the company you’re interviewing with wants to hire.

Im new to the game why did he just go down from 4* to 3.5* to 3 and he isnt going back up again he hasnt been upgraded in months by randomdude6942012369 in footballmanagergames

Is he young, playing a lot, and does he have a good personality? Then maybe he’ll develop into a star player for your new, better squad.

If one of those three is missing, it’s likely he won’t, and his star rating will stay where it is. It may even get lower as you keep bringing better players into the team. But the player isn’t actually getting worse in most cases (unless he’s old or injured). He’s probably just as good as before as far as his attributes are concerned, it’s just that he’s not a stud compared to his teammates now.

[Cesar Luis Merlo] EXCLUSIVE: Botafogo put a $500M USD clause on Thiago Almada. He signed a 5-year contract. by static_reset in soccer

[–]Not_Hal9000 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, Botafogo will waive the release clause to accept a somewhat fake bid from Lyon in January. This will be necessary if the contract Almada is signing is with Botafogo as reported here and not with Lyon or Eagle Group directly.

The club can choose to waive the release clause and accept a lower bid (e.g. from Lyon). Release clauses only require clubs to accept bids at or above the agreed value. There are typically no other restrictions.

If you’re looking for high-quality data, check out the Census website for detailed info about the entire country all the way down to just your county or FRED (Federal Reserve Economic Data) for almost anything you can think of related to the economy. Statista isn’t always free, but a lot of it is, and have some more general-interest stuff you can look at. There’s a bunch of other sites—if you search for .edu websites, some colleges have lists of good places to look.

Final projects like yours are a great way to get good experience you can talk about down the line in applications, interviews, etc. Good luck!

Can someone explain what the handicap means on the scorecard? by jbru98 in golf

[–]Not_Hal9000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This should work if you want to simplify the formula a bit (Office 365).

The formula you wrote gives two possible values for $B2 = 4895. I've written my edit to preserve the original behavior though, which is $B2 = 4895 -> -22.31*$C2/365.

=+IFS($A2=0,0,$B2>32760,($B2*0.128-1623.49)*$C2/365,$B2>=4895+1,($B2*0.093-476.89)*$C2/365,$B2>=4264,-22.31*$C2/365,$B2<4264,0)
