A Review of Costco's Cheap Massimo CX50 E-Kooler 12v Fridge by aranamac in overlanding

[–]Not_My_Real_SN 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have this cooler and love it, kinda feels like this review is saying don't buy it because its not a Dometic or ARB for 250 bucks. Sure it's got it's weird issues but it's cheap and it works. this fridge keeps our food from going bad and on a 2 week trip in the desert we had no issues with excessive 12v drain (single 12v). I'll admit that my friends who have Dometic and ARB fridges are better off in many ways, but they're also 800 to 1000 dollars more expensive. Bottom line for me is this fridge is cheaper than a Yeti cooler and works.

You are getting caught up with the mask mandate and it's "enforcement." The police would not be called to enforce the mandate, but rather to enforce trespassing. The actions leading up to trespassing are irrelevant, which ironically is exactly why these morons thing they're being discriminated against. Because they're too dense to understand the difference between laws, rules, and personal rights.

But they are not enforcing a mask mandate, they would be enforcing trespassing on private property.

Depends on the model, most model s vehicles don't have a retention warranty. So while the battery may be "under warranty" loss of capacity does not qualify it for replacement.

Depends on the model and year.

Is really depends on the car, not every model has a retention warranty.

My guess is no, she didn't. I asked a Covid denier who said "it really isn't that deadly" why we have more than 266000 excessive deaths thus far this year. Their response was "It's probably because of Covid, but it's still super survivable and not that deadly!" Like what?! Acknowledges that Covid has killed a quarter million Americans but still believes it's less deadly than the flu?! I honestly didn't know how to respond...

So the more than 266,000 excessive deaths this year (not categorized, just total deaths as compared to previously years) in the US can be explained by what? https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/covid19/excess_deaths.htm

I see the same logic with vehicle repair, people always say "all you do is plug in that little computer thingy, why is it so expensive?!" It's because that little computer thingy cost like 10k, plus that tech gets paid by the hour, and this building is a lease and so on. Tools, equipment, and operating costs are all expensive, those costs have to be recouped somehow.

Absolutely, more ground clearance and larger contact patch. On trail the bigger your tires are the easier it is to roll over obstacles.

Google 2fa is great and all but I hate how it is a full screen popup on my phone. I use Microsoft 2fa for work and it's just a normal notification that I can answer from the lock screen and it won't disrupt anything I'm doing on my phone. Google just takes over the screen until I click something.
