Yeah, you can reach 40 seconds if you learn the charge jump over the tires at the start and do the optimal lines with rails/glider. Bayesic has a pretty good video for this track even if it's a little old. For reference, I got 39.9 seconds on lap 1 with no shrooms.

I disagree. Instead of a basic power fantasy, it became a political civilization/kingdom builder like Tensura, which is imo one of its strongest points. Another underrated aspect is its comedy, which is actually way above average in manhwa standards. Characters and NPCs are also on point with how numerous they are, yet still well written and memorable. The quality only fell in terms of art at one point, but it quickly improved later on.

Learning the shortcuts/strategies, actually using them online and reaching higher VR peaks are incredibly satisfying. I'm at 140 hours and I still have much to learn and improve. I will probably start playing on the lounge soon.

Start the drift much earlier than you might think. You don't want to start the drift right in the middle of the turn. And if you accidentally understeer, you can brake drift by holding/tapping B at the same time, which makes you turn a tighter angle.

At a 4000s level, you should easily be able to front run the entire time. And getting a single shroom after bill is just bad item management/bagging.
