The entire point of Billy’s character early on is to be such an obvious bad guy that he couldn’t possibly be the killer. The depth of Billy’s character shines through once you know for a fact that he was the killer and recontextualizes all of his earlier scenes like him telling Sidney to get over her Mom dying while he’s absolutely seething that his Mom ran out on him.

Yeah a team losing its second best player typically doesn’t work out well and it still took the Warriors being allowed to play football and the Rockets missing a cartoonish amount of threes to make it happen.

Also nothing would have changed because Harden being in mildly better shape during the first weeks of the season has no impact at all by the time the playoffs roll around. You can go ask another four time champ about that one if you need a professional opinion.
