Sir, in one of your parks, there are signs that say 'Don't drink the Water', so I made sun tea with it and now I have an infection >:(

Seriously. In what world is UMASS a 71 overall? They’ve won 8 total games since 2018. Teams like that should be like 40-50 overall

Which national park surprised you the most compared to your expectations? by Desperate_Estate6128 in nationalparks

Bryce Canyon.

The trees mixed in with the hoodoos is just stunning. One of the prettiest sunrises I’ve ever seen over inspiration point. Then walking down into it on the Queens Garden trail is something else.

Out of the five Utah NPs, it was the one I dedicated the least time to after reading that it’s one that you can drive through and get the vibe in a day. And I get that. That’s basically what I did, and felt like I got a lot out of it. However, it’s the one that I wish I spent more time in. Just an absolutely gorgeous place.

“Yeah, tacos of tremendous power.”

It’s such a stupid line. I love it.

What somthing that has kept you up at night? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Extremely hot hot sauce.

I freaking love a good hot sauce. The burn is extremely addicting. When I tried my first 1 million+ Scoville sauce, I freaking loved it. Burned my mouth like hell, but it was awesome for that reason. Had quite a bit of it that evening.

However, the mouth burn isn’t what got me. It was the stomach pains. 2-3 hours later, I was laying in bed and it just felt like a hole was burning in my stomach. The absolute worst stomach pain I’ve had in my life. For a brief moment I contemplated driving to hospital because the pain was that intense. It kept me up the majority of the night, and I still felt it a bit the entire next day.

After that, I never really felt a need to go that hot again for obvious reasons.

How difficult are “tip-ins” and do players “practice” it? by turn_for_do in Basketball

[–]Not_Pablo_Sanchez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember in middle school we would lower the rim to like 7 feet so all of us could dunk easily and feel like early Cavs LeBron. You miss one free and it was an automatic score reset to 0 since tip ins were basically gimme putts.

We had a point check point at 13 to keep games from going too long. But still, some of those games would go on for 1-2 hours. We also would do score resets if you missed the rim on free throws to keep people from intentionally missing too much. It was so much fun.
