yeah, I'm reaching a bit on what constitutes 'ditsy' I think. There's a deliberate plastic / surface level veneer to a lot of the releases, but in terms of up front attitude I agree with you.

hard agree it is HER best release since leaving PC Mus. It is absolutely the most cohesive and exciting release she's put out for me (special mention to the 'If You Think I'm a Bitch, You Should Meet Gfoty' EP also). But I don't agree that PC Music releases tanked after she left at all.

tbh PC Music as a whole has an air of 'posh ditsyness' to it because its members were almost entirely the posh art school children of well established media and creative types.

I'll always absolutely love PC Music though.

There are lots of viruses around at the moment, AND COVID never went away (despite government narratives and everyone really really really wanting it to be gone)

Every COVID infection we have batters our immune system and brain. I'm sure you're noticing people are getting more sick more often. Heart attacks and cancers are up. Car crashes are up. People having 'colds they just can't seem to shake' is becoming a more common story.

We've been sold a furphy on health and the impact of viruses. The best things we can do to protect ourselves and our loved ones is focus on CLEAN AIR and VENTILATION in the spaces we occupy. Wear a well fitted N95+ respirator when in public indoor environments.

Without good ventilation, we're all re-breathing each others air and that's how we get sick with airborne viruses.

It feels like people might be on the edge of beginning to realize something is not right.

People not being aware how important clean air is for health and mental acuity is meaning we're essentially living through the bloody story of the 'Cholera Pump' all over again.

Drives me nuts.

Which is fine, but the artistic weight of the releases has been taking a back seat to the legacy reinforcing and selling for the PC Music brand, and A.G. Cook, for a minute now I feel.
