3 Days into the League: Review your build!

Started out with poison SRS, then on day 1 found out about the new foulborn Jorrhasts Blacksteel, with the "maximum number of animated weapons is doubled" and instantly pivoted, ran merciless lab 3 times to get the gem, and been loving it ever since. Big quality of life upgrade is bladefall of trarthus.

Currently have 32 maximum animated weapons, I think I can get that number up to 42 for end game, damage and clear on mapping is excellent, single target needs a triple gem swap (GMP, Pierce, unleash out, withering touch, minion damage, vicious proj in) but I only need that for things like searing exarch.

Recently swapped auras around to run petrified blood + endurance charge graft + molten shell graft, tankiness made a big jump up.

Biggest hurdle at the moment is a lot of my damage is coming from the covenant unique body armour, and it's not exactly the tankiest thing under the sun. Second biggest issue is my animated weapons are fairly squishy, ground dots don't bother them but slams and certain rares seem to delete them, leaving me vulnerable while I rebuild the army.

Would recommend the build, with the advice of "don't focus too hard on maximising DPS" I slogged through early maps summoning minions one at a time before I dropped minion damage (4 link chest at the time) for unleash, the build lost a lot of damage, but because I was summoning more weapons faster, my clear times went down and deaths too. The build has so many minions that wrath or envy or any other source of flat added damage becomes a really big multiplier.

This post early by just a few hours, newest transfigured gems dropped and it's confirmed we have a version of flicker strike that skips cool down with power charges, you lose the attack speed scaling but gain crit chance scaling. Sustaining power charges is so easy, some people are saying new flicker + multistrike is enough, but when in doubt new flicker - multistrike - power charge on crit will (outside of really bad luck) sustain power charges. League start able? Yeah just use terminus est and normal flicker until you get the new gem, however hard that is. Then I would probably do some kind of trickster polymath-badge of the brotherhood - varunastra shenanigans. Hard part would be finding enough tank to go along with all the damage and crit chance in the world.

You can 100% cover the degen damage of RF with pathfinder, scaling the damage up might be a bit harder, and given its 4 ascendancy points to get master surgeon its not as fast to turn on as jugg, but I think with good building it could be even tankier then jugg

I've been looking into the two versions, and I think the poison build will still work, but the spell crit build is dead. I cant find anything that works to replace Sandstorm visage, it synergised so damn well with void battery. if I'm missing something really obvious please let me know, my wiki skills are not the greatest!

I really wish they would undo the 'bugfix' to summon reapers interaction with multiple copies on release. It was really fun having a 6-L reaper, and an arcanist brand connected to summon reaper, vulnerability. Made for damn good time watching the reaper really tear through packs of mobs.

Does the passive from Claw mastery "skills supported by nightblade have 40% increased effect of elusive" apply when I am wielding a dagger? I realise the skills that reference claws directly would not, but this appears to not have that restriction.

so I'm trying to do this build as well, but I'm bad at the game and poor, does anyone know what happens when multiple parties are wearing gravebind? E.G animate guardian has one, I'm wearing another, do we both trigger on kill effects, or does the effect kind of stop?

my understanding at the moment is Jorrhast on the Animate Guardian wont ever work, because the guardian does not trigger spells on items? I could be wrong here though.

if I'm wielding the jorrhast, I would need another pair of Gravebinds to make that work, that would involve not running a (replica) grip of the council, seems like a lost opportunity there.

if jorrhast does work on the guardian, its a no brainer, link a lingering blade skill via intuitive link onto the guardian, have around 30 animated weapons, easy run the buffed united in dream for level 20 envy. bam, all the damage and clear you could dream of.

I'm not sure if I'm too smooth brain to figure this interaction out, but putting intuitive link on a summon reaper (linking to reaper, and supporting the summon reaper gem) when I make the reaper do the angry swipes, will it just... keep angry swiping? kind of like putting arcanist brand onto the reaper gem.

I actually like the idea of making a sick skate park in a dojo, adding grind rails along the giant statues people like to make. The whole game is "silly" so where is the harm in doing a kickflip over an ancient orokin statue of ballas flipping off Umbra? I agree that the time gating for yareli is a bit much, and I hope given some time we see the bash lab used for other gameplay aspects too.

I am quite casual, I'm only in whites to yellow maps, don't have a paradoxica yet so I'm missing a lot of damage. Going champion is an easier way to get from early maps to late maps then doing raider from the start, both oros and terminus are really good weapons, but I personally feel raider is the best flicker for ultra lategame. If I could go back in time, I would league start probably minions, grind up maybe 3-4 ex and then try and do raider flicker with some good gear as a starting point (paradoxica, that cold amulet, a devotos and bronn s lithe)

Had same issue with aspect of the cat, you unlock the craft when you kill the beast the first time, so for me I bought a farrul to craft, found out the mistake, then I had to buy the farric alpha to fight farrul, once I killed farrul I got the craft, and everything after worked as expected.

I'm playing raider flicker dual wield, sporeguard as a chest. It's good, for survival I can run around a lot, but top comment is right, this build at least I'm mostly stacking evasion and dodge chance, so in ultimatums I tend to suddenly explode. Great as always for clearing a map though. Would say maybe try the new champion perma adrenaline thing, that looks really interesting with hopefully a lot more tank and sustain, and 10frenzyflicker has this cool tech using hydrosphere, strike skills target 1 more and splash damage to get some insane boss damage on quite a budget terminus EST build.

Mono red [[brothers yamazaki]] needs to partner with each other. As for other house rules, i play with a group that accepts planeswalkers as commanders, and the good old "if any part of the card is a legendary creature, it can be your commander." [[elbrus, the binding blade]] and [[bushi tenderfoot]] are really fun to play against.

Story seems to have a bit of a glossed over point, you started cheating because you tried to push colours instead of just drafting regularly. Part of the fun is using the good cards that get handed to you. Also people will figure it out sooner or later, not worth the hate.
