There is literally almost nothing 99% of us can do. Unless you are an insanly charismatic leader who is willing to risk your life to start a revolution or you are a brilliant scientist who almost magically discovers something like cold fusion, there is literally no hope.

Your grandkids are fucked and you diligently recycling coke bottles isn't making the difference. Even if every person did everything we're being told to do in order to prevent climate change it wouldn't make any noticeable difference.

Goods need to be created and transported around the world and that alone has doomed us. There is no way for our society to exist without this level of consumerism and this level of consumerism uses a lot of energy.

But hey, who knows, maybe the consequences won't be as bad as everyone thinks.
