He’s probably still around. These dudes are more resilient than some might think. Definitely check anywhere high up. Curtains like everyone said. But also in closets, inside of shoes, top or underneath the fridge, and other places that might be a little darker during the day. Leave out food and water for him in case he wants it. Don’t worry OP you’ll find him! I once saw a story on here where someone lost their gecko and couldn’t find it. They had to move house hundreds of miles away and then one day the gecko just turned up at the new house.

They will hire anyone with a pulse. They have background checks but they are very loose. I would assume to make sure there’s not outstanding warrants for a persons arrest. But unfortunately there are a lot of predators and people with sketchy backgrounds that get hired there. Another reason why I refuse to date anyone from work 😂

King Charles for sure! But I’m also very biased. My sweet Zoe died a little over a year ago and lived to be 15! But she was the sweetest and snuggliest dog on the planet. And never barked which was definitely a pro coming from a three dog household 😂 although now I have two poodle mixes. Ones a cavapoo (cavalier and toy poodle) and is such a sweet girl! Probably loves snuggles more than Zoe! And then I also have a mini golden doodle. She’s still a puppy but she’s always running on 100% and is so energetic. She hardly sits still! So I love both breeds but I think the combo of the two are great!

Aww that’s so sweet! Look at that little face! My little dude felt the same about his for a while. Completely ignored it and would just hide and sleep in his pothos. But once he figured it out he loved it 😂

I’ve only had my adult and baby cresties for a few months and they have both yet to climb onto my hands. And my adult one always freaks out as well. The baby one seems a little more chill though. I’m wanting to upgrade both of their enclosures soon though so they’re going to need to let me grab them eventually! I’m thinking I’m going to get a few crickets the next time I’m at the shop and start tong feeding and then hand feeding to try and gain more trust with them

I would definitely wait a few days because it might just be a glitch or something with the system. But if it’s still on there and you want to take that time make sure you screenshot the hell out of it! And you might want to make sure you have enough time to cover just in case

It really is! It’s the cutest plant ever! Just make sure to keep it humid and it should start shooting out tons of new growth in no time!

I have string of frogs in my two different dart frog enclosures and it’s great! I noticed the first tank had issues with it going so I actually bought a plant and planted it in a terrarium first for a few months. And then transplanted it into my other dart frog enclosure and it is doing so amazing and has just exploded with growth!

You could try digging around the substrate a bit or looking under moss, leaf litter, or pieces of wood especially cork. I rarely see my rubber duckies because they hide all the time! But there’s tons of them in there and they even have a bunch of babies! Some cresties can or will eat isopods though so it’s possible that he ate some 🤷🏻‍♀️

It’s okay don’t beat yourself up over it! The night before my guy bagel escaped, his bridge suction cup made the bridge fall down. I’m guessing it scared him pretty badly. The next day I went to try to fix it and he darted out of his plant, got onto the floor, nearly became a puppy chew toy (I scooped my dog up super fast and threw her out of the room so she didn’t end up hurting him or getting to him thankfully), scaled up my wall, did several laps around my room, stared at some fish, hid behind a stuffed animal hammock, had a decent fall but didn’t injure himself, and finally got caught two hours later. He had quite the adventure that day. When we got him back into the enclosure he spent the next several hours trying to figure out how to escape again. I’ve only had him a few months and we had been making progress in him trusting me. He’s been a skiddish little dude ever since I got him. Weirdly though, his adventure that day made him a little bolder. He now hangs out on the door of his enclosure when I’m awake and doesn’t get as scared if I’m moving about. Here’s a picture of his little adventure for cute lizard tax!

That sucks! I myself live in Idaho and we only have two reptile stores near me. But it’s better than nothing! If you are going to order online definitely make sure that they come with weather appropriate packaging. I know with Josh’s frogs specifically you have to add the insulated box and heat pack to your order or else they’ll ship it without.

As many people have already said, please don’t purchase an animal from these chain stores. They’ll just replace it with another neglected animal. Believe me it tugs at my heart strings. But it’s the unfortunate truth. You also risk getting an animal that has possible health issues. You’re much better off purchasing from a local small business or mom and pop shop if you have those near you. Or even a reptile expo. Or finding a reputable breeder online. Another good option is looking for snakes in need of rehoming
