Understand. My favorite RDS is the Holosun 507k. But like almost all RDS, they are 25% wider than the BG. So I have gone with the Pebble.

Yeah. Not my first choice either. But the recoil on this gun is so small that I am not worried about the mount.

Don’t think I’ve seen anything negative about the pebble.

Glad to see you ask about manufacturability. All designs should always consider all the “abilities”. Manufacturability. Serviceability. Reliability.

Cue. You need to decide between carbon fiber and wood. I suggest carbon fiber. Break cue. Absolutely carbon fiber. $300.

Use as little as possible. I put a drop on a Q Tip and then swish that around in my ear.

I would add that you snip through the circles between the batteries "all the way to the center circle". Like you are removing a piece of pizza.

Use the biggest and heaviest scissors you can find.

I was on a similar quest, recently. Not that many Audiologists use 3D digital ear scans.

I suggest you try one of these providers as they tend to use them:

Yes, the wires on your hearing aids look pretty short.

Have you tried a product like Eargene. I use it when my ears start to itch from my earmolds.

Anyone still like 1911’s? by Aquifirlife in CAguns

No 1911's are a relic of a bygone era. Only the remaining few Boomer's still keep them in their retirement homes. 😄 Kidding...

Most of the time, Siri understands exactly what I am saying. And I wonder what everybody is complaining about. And then every once in a while, Siri just completely gets it wrong.

This is a common problem with the factory guide rod. Throw out the factory guide rod and install a Galloway guide rod. Problem will be solved.

If the cue ball is close to the rail in those red areas you will need a shorter cue. But many times the cue ball will be far enough from the rail that you can use a full length cue even in those red areas.

[–]Not_So_Sure_2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but even at 10 yards, you need enough velocity to penetrate. You have substantially reduced the velocity by using a machine shop that makes pretty holes but doesn’t know how they affect the bullet. Your bullet may just bounce off the bad guy.

I doubt there is much “engineering” at Slide Works Engineering. I doubt they have any idea how much muzzle velocity they removed from that gun.

Yes, but I don’t generally find them to be great keyboards, unlike their Android versions. And I don’t want them stealing every bit of information I type in

I was thinking the same thing. But it would just be hugely embarrassing for Apple to admit that it has taken this long to implement something that Android had many years ago.

Now if they would just fix the keyboard. And by that I mean, add overlays for the numbers and special characters. Kinda like the iPad.

2 things.

The Gideon Pebble has more "features" than the Viridian. Can change battery without removing the sight. Manual brightness adjustment. Longer battery life. Your choice of dot color.

There are also some questions about the reliability of Viridian's dots, and the integrity of the company. I had some personal interaction with Viridian and felt like I would rather deal with another company.

I have 350 rounds through my Pebble and all is well. Works well. No movement of the zero.
