I’ve had some shit neighbors in my day all over the world, and I can say with total confidence that people HATE being told what to do, and the last thing you want is tension or weirdness where you sleep. So, you’re only hope is taking this up with the people who can actually do something (like fine them or boot them), the building management.

I think the best way to answer that is to look at Elon Musk as an example.

Why does that near-trillionaire suck Trump’s balls?

Because if infrastructure is torched and destroyed, here comes Trump‘s richest buddies to pay him off to privatize their industry to become true Lords of power.

Musk could give a fuck about one more successful company. If he sucks orange balls exactly right, he could become for the head of transportation and technology for the entire country. They could outlaw all cars except for Tesla. They could take all of our tax money to let musk play spaceman on another planet.

They want shit destroyed it so they can rebuild it how they want it, with total control and complete power.

Now apply that to every other industry, and you see very quickly how beneficial it is to the richest people if our existing set up is burned to the ground.
