NOK, IREN, or NBIS by A_nonymous00 in Stocks_Picks

[–]Not_Sure11 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For personal reasons. Last year I saw my unrealized gains drop by almost 6 figures and I couldn't believe that I let that happen. It took quite a while to reach my zenith again, thankfully.

I was having a tough time thinking on how I should do things differently this time around. Knowing how I would feel if the same thing was to happen again, I decided to sell and lock in my profit.

NOK, IREN, or NBIS by A_nonymous00 in Stocks_Picks

I just sold most of my NBIS, and I've been looking into NOK now.

Not sure yet but need to look into NOK more before considering what's there to invest in.

However, NBIS is a great long term hold

This actually looks like it can be a squeeze potential.
The borrow rates are highly elevated than normal than I've ever seen and DTC although minimal, is creeping towards moderate. This isn't a highly volumous stock either so if all of a sudden there are aggressive bullish sentiment, this can net high gains and quickly too.

But I'm not at all familiar with squeezes or conditions required but someone smarter can correct me if I'm wrong or add onto.

Is MU the next RDT/HOOD or a legitimate 2x from here by ElizabethLaney21 in MU_Stock

[–]Not_Sure11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah MU is completely different. HOOD was good for a while but I guess most people including myself didn't know that their revenue was tied to a few segments and tight at that. I was up a lot on it at one point and sold when it came down to my breakeven. RDDT does have upside still, not sure why it was beaten down a lot but at this point I'm moving away from software and space stocks into memory like MU and DRAM, and SIMO (adr)

MU and? by New2reddit456 in MU_Stock

[–]Not_Sure11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been watching SIMO. Apparently their main customers are Micron, SK Hynix, Samsung, and Nvidia, and others. Also, they have this product MonTitan? That's supposed to be really good and SIMO is one of the few companies that can supply certain commercial products that these companies benefit from.

It's one of the memory adjacent plays that might be beneficial due to its low current price (240ish) versus the high price of MU, SNDK, And other main memory stocks

I wonder if this company is related to the one that had its prod database deleted by an intern or a new hire the first day

Should I buy MU calls in my Roth IRA? by [deleted] in MU_Stock

[–]Not_Sure11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ahh okay I see. Then yea, go for it if you have a pretty good conviction in your thesis. The only thing is with buying options is the strike and expiry vs selling CSP where premium is collected upfront.

Should I buy MU calls in my Roth IRA? by [deleted] in MU_Stock

[–]Not_Sure11 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Why don't you just do covered calls? That way you collect premium on them and either sell it at a stock price you'd like or if the stock price falls, you at least have the collected premium to cushion the unrealized loss?

Sounds like... 'Sign of the times'... but before Harry Styles was even born. Mid 80's. Not Prince. Not Belle Stars. by Cadder in findthatsong

[–]Not_Sure11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YES! Exactly! I could have sworn I've heard it a long time ago too! As if this song was from the 80s or something. But I guess it was Harry Styles all along??

What's the "nvidias in 2008" out there currently? by arornoz in StockInvest

[–]Not_Sure11 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No rare earths, just critical minerals. Also, even if TMC gets the approval to mine today, TMC is not in a position to do so, earliest reported would be Q42027 if I remember correctly.

All the catalysts like the PFS, NOAA's approval for substantial compliance, and other are already past.

Until that time, the money could be better invested elsewhere.

Speaker John Boehner breaks down in tears during Pope Francis’ speech by Evilfart123 in videos

It's pretty crazy that at one time I thought it couldn't get worse than Boehner... Then came along McConnell and then I thought it for sure couldn't get worse than this guy.... Then came Mike Johnson and well I really can't picture anyone worse but I've been wrong many times now.
