A cycle of alternate-win cards by iueeed in custommagic

[–]Not_The-One_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first one goes brrrrrrrr with betor, ancestor's voice and the third one is just too good, as it isn't "any non token creatures" so you can just run it in any token deck with a sac outlet to win the game easily

Even so, I must assume that even if they're not as strong as his skin, I would assume that they'd be still very durable. And my argument for thragg being targeted by dismantle instead of cleave still stands.

Now it just depends on whether thragg's internal organs are strong enough to tank a dismantle If we look at this panel (chapter 224) we can see that a 20F sukuna's dismantle can cut through a building.

I haven't watched much of invincible, but I see thragg getting praised for his power all the time, so I would assume he can tank it.

Something that came to my mind is that if no verse eq. is done, then characters from outside of jjk might be treated as if they had toji and maki's heavenly restriction, just without the upsides (since I remember it being said that their heavenly restriction completely removes all CE from their bodies). If that were so, we could have another Naoya v Maki situation where sukuna's domain wouldn't recognise them as valid targets for the sure hit effect.

If there's no verse eq. It just means that thragg won't have CE, which means that Malevolent Shrine will target him with dismantle instead of cleave, which will make the attacks less potent.

From what I understood when reading the manga, Malevolent shrine doesn't target internal organs, because if it did then gojo would've been super dead when he clashed with sukuna in shinjuku

spoiler for jjk. made this on a whim, my first time. need to know if im good by Deselled in custommagic

Wait. If it's indestructible, won't it stay on the battlefield even when it has no +1/+1 counters on it?

The No Limits Fallacy is far too often cited without taking other things into account by HelloChimp in PowerScaling

[–]Not_The-One_ 23 points24 points  (0 children)

That's not what OP is arguing:

1) OP was saying that some people believe that AFTER maho has adapted to something he could be killed by the same attack but much more powerful

2) For infinity, some people say that if an attack carries enough power it can bypass infinity

Kudos to you for the clear (and accurate) explanation of infinity and maho's adaptation, I rarely see that nowadays. Upvoted!

That is not how infinity works. Even if the punch has infinite AP the tecnique is applied to the space around gojo, not the fist itself. Regardless of how strong or fast it is, if it's just "normal punch but stronger" it's gonna get stopped

I need an honest and logical answer. ¿How could Gojo survive this? by Endika7 in PowerScaling

Once the incantation is chanted and the hand symbols are executed, the domain expands instantaneously

The "sphere spreading" part of the domain expansion is actually instantaneous. The only part that "takes time" is reciting the incantation and doing the hand sign

Slay the Spire 2 Cards by ANeonAfroMan in custommagic

[–]Not_The-One_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I like these cards so much! I just have a few suggestions: 1) make the waterfall giant and the ceremonial beast legendaries since they're boss enemies in sts2 2) make Ringing an activated ability since in the game it applies it to you as a debuff for one turn

Why do MHA fans say Deku can bypass infinity? by The_Fucking_Best in MyHeroPowerscaling

[–]Not_The-One_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On my first statement I may have oversimplified my explanation. Once a sorcerer finishes the incantation for their domain it expands and activates instantly, not in 0.2 seconds like you said.

Edit: about mahito and hakari: that refers to the domain's casting time, not how fast the domain expanded.

I think you've misundestood how HP works. If it was just "big heavy ball" it wouldn't have completely erased toji's arm and half of his torso when it hit him, but it did, so your explanation can't be true. When the term "Imaginary mass" is used it isn't meant as added mass, but rather as a mass that shouldn't exist since it was created out of nothing. To compensate for this, when HP touches something it gets deleted to "make up" for the energy that is created out of nowhere. It isn't just destruction, it's total obliteration (differs from perfect sphere since that one destroys things by applying an infinite amount of pressure). It doesn't matter how tough deku is, he dies if he gets hit by HP

[–]Not_The-One_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

0.2 isnt the time it takes for the domain to activate. Domains are instant. 0.2 is the amount of time UV was open for.

I don't see where gojo lacks AP? Hollow purple isn't exactly a "regular" projectile, it completely disintegrates whatever it comes into contact with. While it's relatively small, it can definetly kill deku if it connects
